I drop where I fall
All tethered and torn
Weathered and worn
As an offering To the dawn
Like a lamb to the slaughter
Sleep deprived Stiff and tired
No longer can I show my pride
Unwashed half dressed
Let me sleep I’m not impressed!
5.am agin this morning Moose wanted a walk! I think she’s torturing me! Sleep deprivation! Bless her! Did make her wait until 6am!!!!

i looked down
twenty three stories

tears in my eyes
legs shaking

every intention
of falling head first

you see— i was just so tired
of having to land
on my feet
so many people
are so tired
of having to be so strong

Sheer silks rise and fall
Pleasure wrapped in dulcet tones
Joy beads down her brow

This haiku is dedicated to Hedone, the Goddess of Pleasure.
Other than her being the daughter of Cupid and Psyche, there isnt much on her either. Pleasure has many connotations, mich like her own name also so what better way than to play around with it!
These haikus sure are fun to do!

Unrest.

Can I bring him back by helping souls like his?

Can I help from the present?

Can he help from the past?

Who holds the key? He or I?

I smoked to fill my lungs
to **** the flowers that grew there
the ones you planted last december

Healing leaves are now disrobed branches
on the edge of this wilderness.
Many tall Douglas Fir stand sentinel
over 100 foot tall amazing grace — the fleeting leaves
expose the beauty of the moss clad scaffolds
adorned with a lime-grey lichen lace
Nature is my refuge — solid ground to stand
in this harmony and peacefulness.
