You buried me
Half the world away
And a lifetime ago

Yet you find me
In your every daydream
In every foreign touch
In every what if...

Almost...
But never quite
How haunting is that?
We cut one another
Down to the very flesh
While we miss each other
Deep inside our bones

Isn’t that ironic?
Why do we tend to hurt the ones we love (and vice versa)?
When I'm drowning with fear, I feel strengthened
When I'm lost, I find my way
When I'm at the bottom, I'm pulled up
I hear his encouraging voice all the time
He hasn't given up on me & I doubt he will for his love exists abundantly
His heart's filled with joy and I praise him everyday for no goodness comes except through him

Maybe love is found in the in-between,
Between the violent hold to keep it
And the willingness to let go.
Or will this sweet orange
Rot under a tree,
Long before we even reach spring?
I write really long poems. So here is something more bite sized from my last write. If you like it maybe check out the whole poem. :)

But for now,
Will you sit with me?
And watch for the shadows in the smoke?
Maybe even see the dance of what could be?

And if they do—
Maybe we do more than trap them in a jar.
Maybe we can raise the bar.
Maybe we can see
Just how far
The shadows in the smoke flow—
If we work together
To keep this fire aglow.
An excerpt from a longer poem I’m working on. I hope y’all enjoy
It's a good place,
The place we are.
Even in the cold weather,
I know I have your warmth to hold me over.
Because after all the freezing winds,
Comes the happy days of spring,
And this spring, I'll be happy with you.
So won't you get your converse on,
To come flower picking with me.
We can skip down flower fields,
Picking plenty of rosy red poppies.
Love grows with the seasons

I'm so tired, Mum,
Of tackling a lot all the while,
Of hiding my nerves into a ring-mail,
Of running away all the time.

I'm so tired, Mum!
There're so much lies around!
It's so scary, I'm starting to feel
That I'm falling down.

I'm so tired, Mum!
It's so unfair! I can't even weep.
Fluff my pillow like for a kid, Mum.
I deathly want to sleep.
