Dune days
 Aug 2014 That Girl
r
Years disappear
under shifting dunes
of days and endless nights.
A quiet cloaks
the ticking house
as summer falls
slowly on the crystal coast.
Evening tide is running out.
Days get shorter by the day;
moonrise comes early
above the straight blue line.

Through the faded curtain
a lone ship far out to sea,
a gull floating on a breeze,
driftwood on the shore.
A young boy casts his net
and pulls it back once more.
Catching memories
discarded in the sand;
another dune is born.
He turns his back upon the ship
and wanders home.

My Poems
 Aug 2014 That Girl

My poems are not brilliant
They have no meter nor rhyme
My poems are not published
They are hardly worth a dime

My poems are read little
They are enjoyed even less
My poems are not witty
Slightly amusing at best

My poems are fun to write
They bring me simple pleasure
My poems are nothing, true
Yet writing is sure treasured

As I lay here I realize
death is not something I should despise
it is simply a fragment of our lives
no matter how much we venture and strive
work things out and compromise.

It should never come as a surprise
that one day...
death will look us straight in the eyes
with no regard to our mothers' cries
no care for our last goodbyes.

We begin to think of...
All those ungrateful sighs
those unworthy lies
those wasted cries
as our soul flies
and our blood dries
then, the body dies.

Now look around.
You are not dead
still above the ground.
Feel you're heart pound
and realise
*the beauty of that sound.

Ashes to ashes and dust to dust
Call this assurance if you must;
But when it's time to say Farewell
To one you love, it's just plain hell.

There are no words, no healing balm,
To fill the void, to ease the calm;
And not a thing that one can say
Will drive the quick hot tears away.

We look upon the empty chair
And seek the one no longer there;
And so heartbreaking is the pain
We question if we'll meet again.

How grim indeed, if death should be
The Bitter End--- Eternity;
Just some vague dream conceived by Man
And not a part of any plan.

But God has taken such great care
To note the sparrow in the air;
His Love alone can cover all
And Mark a simple Sparrows' fall.

And if he cares for the birds that fly,
then he must hear My Anguished cry;
"Dear God, I yield my grief to Thee
For Thou alone can comfort me."
To Everyone who is struggling with Grief

I promise you, I will try
To make it better
I know I cannot ease your pain
But if I could, I would
I wish I could dry your eyes
And wipe the tears away
Help convince you that it'll be better
Before tomorrow comes
I feel helpless watching you cry
You can always come to me
And sob into my shoulder
Oh, my poor girl
How it hurts me
Seeing you whimper
And watching the tears fall
From beautiful chocolate brown eyes
Why can't I take your physical
And emotional pain away?
If only I could, I would
My poor sweet girl

For my Mom, Hilda, who was stung by a bee today!! ~~~<3
She was also reminiscing some sad memories
Of her late sister, Joy!!! ~~~~~~<3
I just wish I could take all her hurt away...
And if someone must feel her pain,
Then I would gladly feel it for her....
Just knowing she would feel better
Would make me happy and be my
Greatest reward!!! ~~~~~~~<3
Dearest Mom, what can I do to make you smile? ~~~~~<3
You look so sad...~~~~~~<3
Oh, and Mom, just feel free to cry into me anytime
You want to...just let it all out, just please tell me
If there is something I can do to make you happy again!!! ~~~~~<3
I hope you enjoy this poem!!! ~~~~~<3

The days of summer pass so quickly now
The roses are withering on the vine
Warm hot breezes through the tall pine trees sough
Where are all the vanishing sands of time?
Sunrays of gold ne'er slant across the path
The end of July is already here
Daisies have shed all the petals she hath
So soon to bid goodbye to summer dear
Bid sweet adieu to the sonnets of time
Nevermore the sweet July sun to see
Behold the fading sky in its own prime
Farewell to the sighing waves of the sea
Sweet summer days are coming to an end
Enjoy life while it is still left to spend

*~Marian
I Don't Know How This Turned Out...
Guess I'll Read It And See!!! :) ~~~~~<3
Hope You Enjoy This Sonnet!!! :) ~~~~~<3

Drag your feet against the pavement,
bleed your heels some more
Value the hurt
and that you feel pain.
Retract your strings
and put  boundaries on yourself.
Don't run free
you'll only be caught.
Continue to fill yourself with hope
that the most miserable of things
will fill you with joy.
Try to wrap your heart around a love
that is anything but true.
Open one door
to find a black hole in the other
and step into a dimension of
trust issues, self harm, hate for the world.
Forget all your responsibilities
and drop all respect
to dig a grave for your future.
Position yourself for a smooth road
and crumble when it bumps.
Remember your hard times
and relive all your hell.
And never forget
bring all the hurt to yourself.

It is like I'm in another place
An obviously strange world
Too many suicide attempts
Too many blood and too many tears

But it is not a sad world
There is love in the heart
There is happiness, sweetness and
Smiles

It is a words world
"scars" "blood" "hurt" "fire"
"release" "trapped" "love"
"air" "breath"

It is a place where
People in invisible cages asked for freedom
People with problems asked for an escape
People in love dancing in the air
People with one sided love imagine a turned back

It is here
HELLO POETRY
Where words describe heart
Where words bring tears to the eyes.
A great escape from real world
I am glad I found Hello Poetry. Whenever I feel bad or down I can just simply post poems here and feel ease as if the whole probs been lifted up from my shoulders. It is a great place to express feeling.
