We all search for love
The one person to spend eternity with
The one person to laugh and cry with
The one person to be yourself with
All we must do is look in a mirror
And your search is over
Love yourself first
As I look up, as I do every night. My thoughts,my heart are...where. I know.  Looking up to the sky. As I do. I can't help but to...think, wonder. Are they there, looking back at me ? I SO hope so
Thoughts of my SON and OTHERS that I miss, too much
Love is like a tear
Warm and comforting at first
But leaves a shadow of itself
Resting on your cheek
It is pulled away
By an unknown force
Be it life or gravity
As it falls
You want to chase after
To bring it back to you
Back to where you believe it belongs
It is seen as a weakness
Though no other can see
How strong it makes you
After it breaks you
It leads to hard taught skills
Rough skin covering fragile veins
Dark glints in gleaming eyes
A few less words
But much more meaning
Love is an everlasting tear
I am your paper plane,
Soaring gently through,
The thermal winds.

Gradually losing momentum,
Being crushed by the force,
Of your atmosphere.

Our love is crumpled,
Even before I hit the pavement.

I am your paper boat,
Sailing soothly across,
The hidden tides.

Slowly beginning to sink,
Down deeper into the murky water,
Your raindrops creating a swell,
A tidal wave of depression.

Our love is unrequited,
You'd never cry for me.

I am your paper kite,

Your paper bird,

Your paper rose.

Each object useless and fragile,
Easily broken and destroyed.

Yes - they may be beautiful, some more than others.

But ultimately they can be discarded.

Ultimately I am not beautiful.

Each object can be remade again,
All you need is another piece of paper.

And I guess that's all I am to you,

A worthless piece of paper.
