Compliments
 Dec 2018 Lot
Lexie
I was given the most beautiful compliment today
The one twenty four in the morning girl told me
That I was God's ******* to Satan

Amen
It's late, anything goes.
The night is fruitful
and it stretches on forever
with no light or voice to vie
to me the darkness provides
to me it never lies
my mind becomes calm and agile
like a figure in the caricatures

so I diligently fantasize the time
who speaks to me through the ticking of the old clock
who paints the dusky room with ink that darken every second
who puts a tranquil aura on items that touches my skin
who proudly reveals its presence over every other elements
who is the now, the ever, and the everlasting end

You

You
I can’t sleep
I can’t eat
I can’t function
As thoughts of you cloud my head like a car windshield driving through a whiteout blizzard
They are thoughts of you
The words you’ve said
The sound of your voice
The way you look
They are all right there
But at the same time
Too far away to focus
I’m left staring at the ceiling for hours
Wondering if you’re doing the same

The best poem
came to me last night
while shaving.
I didn't write it down,
and now,
much like the shaving cream
that slithered down the drain,
those words are gone.

John-Paul Richard
Fills you up with carrion,
And leaves you to marinate,
Merely Marionetting movements,
Jerky and unfamiliar with the phlegm thick,
Cement heavy,
Consistency of your limbs.
Tires you out,
Until you sit a screen zombie,
Nonplussed,
Having your scalp pulled back and skull
Cracked,
Like a jaw breaker

Fumbletongue
Breaker of toys
Dasher of dreams
Killer of joys
Puller of seams
