The Non-Poet
life is like
when you're
a little kid
and you
discover that
there is more
than twenty-four
crayons in the box
that there is
the possibility
of forty-eight colors
of sixty-four
of one-hundred and twenty
that there are
so many shades
of love and anger and peace and despair
and absolute bliss
and the ability
to express them all
are now
in the palm
of your hand

life is
colorful
beautiful
thought-provoking
lovely
soulful
heartbreaking
inspiring
and absolutely wonderful

every day is
a new sunrise
a new chance
to transform into
the butterfly you
want to be

go out there
and change the world, kid

I bury my head below the tide to remind myself that I am alive

East Wind
Collections of my disorderly thoughts
gathered together with knots
of my ample desire
to make sense of my everyday life.
I write poetry, however bad they might be, to help me analyze my feelings.

the razor edge
of living sharp and free
is when the roses lose their petals,
the thorns are all i can see

Watching a full moon,
trying to mend myself, meeting
the hermit of me.

A sacred promise
was made under the eyes of moon
I don't know why.

The quirk of fate?
Can you decipher the script
of unwritten oath?
