A dark cold night,
I lay down to think.
My thoughts wander off to places they've never been,
And I fail to trace them back,
Then others just fall back on my mind,
And remind me that I'm mortal,
And quite hopeless without faith,
I try to brush off those thoughts because I want to feel incharge of myself,
But I eventually get convinced that I'm not.

Mistakes are worth making, take that chance and see where it leads you, it may be scary, but that's life, it's an adventure in itself, so why not spice it up with some more adventure?

1 Help, LORD, for no one is faithful anymore;
those who are loyal have vanished from the human race.

2 Everyone lies to their neighbor;
they flatter with their lips
but harbor deception in their hearts.

3 May the LORD silence all flattering lips
and every boastful tongue—

4 those who say,
"By our tongues we will prevail;
our own lips will defend us—who is lord over us?"

5 "Because the poor are plundered and the needy groan,
I will now arise," says the LORD.
"I will protect them from those who malign them."

6 And the words of the LORD are flawless,
like silver purified in a crucible,
like gold refined seven times.

7 You, LORD, will keep the needy safe
and will protect us forever from the wicked,

8 who freely strut about
when what is vile is honored by the human race.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your grace,
Thank you for your forgiveness,
And for the peace you offer me;that which surpasses all human understanding,
Thank you for your protection from all dangers and for those I faced I say thank you because they've made me stronger,
Thank you for all my loved ones,
Lord thank you for everything,
Take over my life,for only you can,
May your name be glorified,
Forever and ever through Christ

When hard work doesn't show great results,many things run through my mind,
Because daily I'm on my grind,
Trying hard to attain something I've always hoped to find,
Feel like closing my eyes,maybe become blind,
Blind to reality because it hurts,
And my heart breaks,
Is it a poets curse that inspiration is great when hurt,
Or is it a blessing in disguise because it is from a bruised heart;that great art is born....

Births joy,
Breeds peace.

You were deeply hurt in the past,
You still bleed with pain and your      wounds are still fresh and open,and everyday feels like salt is being added to them.
You're angry at the world,but I want to let you know that,life will always be the same if you aren't willing to  change your mindset.
The only way to get over being hurt is forgiving,I know forgiving isn't as simple as it sounds,but its worth working out.
Being bitter affects only you!,not the one who made you bitter.
You have to accept that life happened to you and realise that the person may not deserve forgiveness but you definitely deserve  peace of mind.
Let your soul soar!don't let it fade away,you're special!,everything happens for a reason.
Go out there and be an inspiration to the people undergoing what you recovered from,
You're strong and tough!that's why you've reached this far,don't give up now.

The past is the past,
Its history for a reason,
The past;whether its success or failure shouldn't define you because days change,
Everyday should be taken as new as it is with its goals and hopes.
The past is to be learnt from.

Curiosity knew about knowledge.
But doubted knowledge because curiosity wanted to do it all alone without thinking twice or asking knowledge,
Curiosity got curious to try out knowledge,
So pride was dropped and by curiosity knowledge was approached.
Curiosity flirted with knowledge,
Together they conceived understanding,
By understanding;knowledge gave birth to wisdom,
And by wisdom curiosity and knowledge stayed together forever..
The birth of wisdom.

We pursue happiness,
We experiment with our lives,
Hoping to find happiness,
When pain in the heart thrives,
It feels like we've never known happiness,
As people,
Pursuing happiness,
May be a fun adventure but its not simple,
We **** ourselves slowly,
Thinking we're having fun normally,
The pursuit to happiness
Is genuine if we go after our hearts desires,
Before the beating of the heart retires,
We ought to follow that which we feel as a passion.

Lord I seek your face,
I pray one day my soul will sing praises in your heavenly place,
As imperfect as I am,
Playing with my life like a ball in a game,
You still love me,
Sometimes its so hard to even get on just one knee
To pray,
Because my thoughts take me astray,
But I still yearn for you,
You're the reason for my being,.without you,
I'd be blue.
I love you.

Learn to enjoy the roller-coaster called life,
It's pretty fun.
Sometimes go "happy-go-lucky"
Enjoy the ride,
Because it turns out to be quite short.

Stranded,feeling unwanted,
Not only by parents but by society as a whole,
Wishing to have just died before birth,
But still pushing on,staying strong and being hopeful,
Even able to afford a smile and some laughs too,
Its amazing how people with the least of things seem to be the most grateful,
They may have bad reputations but they know the sense of real family,not by blood but by companionship.
From all people,we can draw lessons

Be delightful,
Everyday is a gift,
Don't take it for granted,
Put it to use.

You can never heal or fix someone emotionally,

In order to heal; one must decide they want healing.,

You may try and end up needing the healing yourself.

As much as the truth hurts,
Denial hurts more,

While denial actually gives you unnecessary anxiety,

My hope is in you Lord,
No matter what happens to me,I know I'll be alright,
There's always hope in front of me,
And your hand holding me.
At my worst times I know you're with me,
So I wouldn't ever give up.
You give me every reason to live,
You're my hope,
Sorry for the times I don't believe you're always there for me.
But for as long as your love lives,I'll forever have hope.

Perhaps to be less hurt,
We should love without expecting as much from the one we love,
But being human,its hard to tune the mind to think that way,
And somewhat it seems true that when someone breaks your heart they never really loved you the same as you loved them,
God loves us though He knows only few of us could actually love Him that much,
Since love is selfless,guess we should love selflessly, its our duty.

Its passion,
More than an emotion,
More than an act;
More of a lifestyle,
Love is a fact!
Falling into it is no trap,
Its either a lesson or a blessing.
Love is in all hearts,
Only that its suppressed in others and expressed more in some.

Sometimes I sit back to think,
I get so caught up in my thoughts that I forget to blink,
The love you have for me puzzles me,
You sent your only Son to die just so I could be free,
Its hard to fathom such kind of grace,
I feel sad to know that despite all that my head is still in a mess,
I pray that you clear my mind,
Before I go entirely blind,
Blind to the things I need to see with spiritual eyes,
Because I'm now getting tired of all the seemingly real lies.

As hard as it may seem;to be inspired at times,
There's always inspiration around us,
Its not even somethng to wait for,
Inspiration is actually something to find,to search for,
Its all over,you just have to be receptive,
And to view things with your mental eye.

Powerful and mighty,
Majestic and awesome.
Belief in God doesn't require approval.
All it requires is a willing heart,
Humble enough to accept a creator,
Each life is like a book,
Written by one author,
Purposed and known by Him,
Gracious and merciful is He.
His love is unconditional and endures everything. Indeed He is God.

God is not a myth,
He's the truth,
It seems most think believing in God is denial of reality,
Lack of clarity,
Or even just low intellectuality,
Well is it?
So many events narrate to me the existence of a higher power,
Its not a thing I've not questioned,
I've questioned and questioned.....
And the answers I seek,
Are always beneath all the hearts;
Of the helpless souls who lick their sours of being judged for believing in Him;God
So I wonder;"what does it have to do with me? "
Am just a human being acting weird at times,...
I feel guilty for am straight mentally but all I see in the mirror is a man detrimentally,
Causing my inner self;harm,
Then I realise,
That its wiser to follow my hearts eyes,
For they confirm what my mind already knows but tries to argue against.,
Such is life.

Lessons learnt from pain stick the most,
As you heal,you learn.
As you learn you grow.

Pain makes you appreciate the good times you took for granted,
Pain humbles you,
Pain helps us see through different eyes.

Pain makes us stronger,
Capable of enduring and more patient.

Its despicable,yes it is. It hurts,yes it does. But when we learn from it,we can appreciate it.

If you wear make up to filter your appearance,
Realise that,that won't change how you feel about yourself deep down,
Accept what you perceive as flaws and embrace them,afterall with our human eyes we all find faults on our bodies,
Don't waste your efforts trying to impress people who aren't there to build you or encourage you,
Don't waste efforts to impress people who think your natural look *****,
Surround yourself with true love and positivity.

They're words to strengthen your heart when feeling hopeless..

Either life is full of surprises or we're usually in denial of reality...

Its not even a matter of fate,

A seed to plant,that eventually bears fruit.
No blood is royal,
Anyone can be queen or king,
All that's needed is toil!
With just a little more effort and believing.
Many take dreams as folly,
But the wise understand that dreams do bring glory,
They don't become reality from without,
They become reality from action,and lack of doubt.
Believe once,
And watch where that takes you;you won't bounce.

Being lonely makes me feel like an alien,
I feel in need of a friend,
A friend to see daily,
Chat with and hangout with,
Someone I have a lot in common with,
Male or female I don't mind,
Honestly I'm not much of a loner;I prefer the company of people,
I love my family but I need a friend.

It's up to you to learn and apply,
And to learn some more.
To make good decisions and respect people.

State of unconsciousness,
Leads the mind to places,
Excruciating pain ceases,
Except when you wake.
Peace of mind comes with it.

Countless times,
You saved me.
Times i never realised i was in trouble,
You came to my rescue,
In times when i feel hopeless,
You strengthen my belief.
Life is no nice walk in the park,
But knowing i'm never alone,
I am comforted by your love and by your Grace..
