There's this thing about the dead.
When your love one is gone,

There was a girl,
a beautiful girl surrounded by people,

her brother Chris died sophomore year,
she spend all her time secluded with her family or in the comfort of books,
I watch her for all of high school,
waiting for that perfect  moment to talk to her but then
that moment never came,
I watch as people gradually forget about her
and she seems content to disappear
but not to me
and although she didnt know it,
I saw the possibility of us.

"Do you love me?" she asked.
"Do you want me to prove it?" he asked.
"Yes, if you're not too sleepy." She said.

She said:
"Why don't we just go back to the way things were?"
" We'll hang out and have fun and pretend that nothing's change."

He said:
"I can't do that."

She said:
"Why not?"

He said:*
" Because I love you"

Dont fail me now; feet,
Bring me to the finishing line.
And that's when we'll celebrate.
