during this year
you'd better not
think one thing
say another
do something else

we all can see right through you
with our perfect vision --

2019 hit me hard like most years
but i finally started to hit back
i let myself embrace the pain
said it was okay
and started to heal
i made my peace with a lot of my past
wrongdoings i can't undo
but can forgive
both myself and others
i decided to stay in love with someone not in my life anymore
and that's okay
because she's always had my heart
most importantly i made a resolution for the first time
for 2020 i will not be suicidal
or entertain such thoughts
i will tell my demons
"how dare you think you can scare me into death"
and i will mock the voices that say there is nothing for me here
i am loved
even by myself
//on myself and life//

If you've ever struggled in life, and feel like things never will change... they may not... but you can.
Love you all, and best wishes for 2020

The last day of the decade in which I grew up.
Funny. Every year felt like a decade itself.
A poem every day.

Dear Diary;
this year already
tastes like last year
and I can see the
rot ahead.

last year's hangover
Morning Star blind
without the ride
of imbibing libations

words bled dry
in powdered thought
desiccated emotion
won't rehydrate unsalted
and I just ain't in the mood

shoulda had that drink
winning every battle
lost in war I can't see
but scars burn deep
courting failure
with fear

why fight fate
in altered perceptions
that are all real enough
to feel
in a world where the
only thing concrete
is thought...

bled dry
in last year's hangover

A poem
of 365 days
is in the making

A story of events
is brewing

A blank page
is aching

I only wish not to be fat, so food do not riot!
I don't want to see such fats in my diet
Being healthy and striving for years
I doubt it will happen, For I already saw a lot of it this new year.
This is a poem I used for a comedic contest in Allpoetry.com. Don't take it too seriously, it is for comedy and to entertain people.
