Immortality Jan 9
Early morning,
fog hugging the earth,
Coffee in my hands,
warmth in my soul.

A simple blessing,
A calm moment.
POV: You're sipping bittersweet coffee on your balcony, in winter morning after pulling all-nighter for studying or work.
And the best part? No one else is awake yet.
just you.... hehehe :)
Immortality Jan 9
Snow blankets the earth,
Shivers of frost kiss the air,
Calmness wraps the soul.
Winter reminds me of the beauty found in silence, like Frozen Elsa maybe....
However, I still can't enjoy it fully because my fingers swell during this season..... :(
Week by week, winter
clouds shroud the sun, sullen sky —
Church arch, bridge to light
Anais Vionet Jan 4
The sky is a cloudless crystal blue
with a breeze to chap your lips
I’m grateful for it, it’s heaven-sent
the dawn was a celestially stamped, angry red
sailors take warning

It’s going to get feisty cold,
I’m told
about the time we go back to school.
A polar-bear vortex with all its features
will spread its icy paws

What jumps out at me first
is how it could be worse.
if unapologetic nature
pounced sans disclaimers
with a cold worth semi-Shakespearean verse

What follows, star-crossed
is a week storm-tossed
a winter holocaust
with heaven-kissed frost
that only madness would call a judgement

We’re steered from harm
by precision alarms
stay warm
sweet friends
wrap up, stay in
.

Frost etches patterns on windowpanes,
While winter’s chill travels down barren lanes.
Bare branches stretch against steel-grey skies,
As the morning mist slowly rises and dies.
The short days are wrapped in woolly light,
As long clear nights sparkle with crystals bright.
New dreams unfold like freshly turned pages,
While time moves on in gentle stages.
In places where the snow drifts deep,
As last year's memories quietly sleep.
Nature paints all with a silver brush
A world transformed into a peaceful hush.

Come and take a walk with me
On a summer's eve so bright,
Smell the honeysuckle bloom
Beneath the fading light.
Tell me how you laugh and cry,
What stirs your heart, what makes you sigh,
Speak of dreams you hold inside,
And perhaps I'll share the ones I left behind.

Come and take a walk with me
Through autumn's fleeting glow,
Feel the crisp and cooling air
As time begins to slow.
Tell me all you hoped to be,
The things you sought so endlessly.
Let me show you what you'll learn,
Through every loss and twist and turn.

Come and take a walk with me
On winter's frozen ground,
We won’t be long—just take my hand,
No need to linger 'round.
Share your life in quiet tones,
No need to make a sound,
I’ll match your peace with calm my own.
Perhaps you'll glimpse beyond my gloom,
And see who hides within this room.

Come and take a walk with me
As spring begins to sing,
Tell me of the love you’ve found,
The joy your future brings.
Speak of family, wedding days,
The dreams you've shaped in tender ways.
I’ll listen close, with no disdain,
For the life I lost won’t cloud your gain.
And as you go, just softly say,
Remember me, my very own name, for you and I are always the same.

December is the coolest month
Or the coldest month in some countries
Bring the toys, bring the candies
Grab a jacket, grab a coat and wear pajamas
At night. Stay away from the labyrinth
Get a Christmas tree to decorate
December is the jolliest month of the year
This is the winter month to go from fête to fête
Ride, ride the carousels
Ring, ring the bells
Beat the drums and blow the trumpets, cheer
Cheer and sing Christmas Carols to celebrate
The birth of Jesus Christ
Let it snow, let it snow
Smile and paint a rainbow
Be happy, be enticed
Have a very merry Christmas
Peace on Earth! Peace alas!
