He was the wind, raging and all
until he rushed into love
And then he just drifted, calm and loose
like a leaf whose time had come...

She was a wildflower, rooted firm
until she was caressed by love,
then envy crept in and made home,
And she stood there stripped of her petals

Untouched, by human hands
it grows strongly.
Uncultivated, by human means
it exists freely.
Untainted, by human instruments
it lives purely.

To its very core,
it embodies originality.
To its deepest roots,
it remains unrestrained.
To its brightest petals,
it emanates splendor.

Untouched, by social influence,
she grows strongly.
Uncultivated, by social expectations,
she exists freely.
Untainted, by social conformity,
she lives purely.

To her very core,
she seizes independence.
To her deepest roots,
she wanders uncontrolled.
To her brightest petals,
she radiates beauty.

You said that she's beautiful like a garden.
Filled with glowing beauty;
drenched in the warmth of sunshine.
But little did you know,
this beautiful garden has grown wildflowers.
They are in every corner, even on the path.
And the time you noticed these unwanted flowers,
you stepped on every blossom and left the garden.

A tiny pink wildflower
blooms in the field.
Is it you?

She's my wildflower
I'll give my love and she'll devour
Every minute every hour
All motivation all my power
When I'm asleep
Paid by the hour
In the woods
Or in rain shower
Baby your
My wildower

I know I'm
just a flower
in your garden
of admirers.

But I hope
you see
the difference
     between
a Wildflower and a Rose.
Although there are  more wildflowers than there are roses, everyone wants the beautiful, elegant rose. Whereas different types of wildflowers have their own unique characteristics...and most importantly GROW FREELY.

Suppose she was a wildflower...
She didn't need to depend on any one to help her grow.
She just did it.
She absorbed the sunshine,
Drank the raindrops.
She was wild;
Not like an animal but a beautiful,
Colorful,  innocent little flower.
She added to the world,
Made it a beautiful place,
And never realized it.
She was a wildflower.

I was always more of an autumn girl, there was something so poetic about watching the leaves fall, maybe that's why I always hated spring. But then you appeared, on that hot april night. So full of leaves. You told me I was an unbloomed flower. So you water me with laughs and sweet words, in a couple of days I started blooming. And then I understood how wonderful spring was.
I now see flowers so differently and with so much respect, because it is so hard to bloom in the time we live in, we are so full of toxic people and words that stick to us like poison ivy, yet you made it look so easy for me.
you told me that I should bloom like a wildflower, no matter the place, no matter the season, no matter the circumstances, you have the ability to brighten up someone's path.

I, in a field amongst my peers;
We are so similar
Almost all the same-
We grow together
From the soil beneath
Our stems, our roots
Combining, clustering,
We are all connected.
I feel like I am different though,
     I have my own stem
     My own hue of pink
     My own pretty petals
     My own green leaves
     My own movement
     My own form of life.
I realize there are others
That look like me,
That grow like me,
That sway in the wind as I do.
     But I also know that
     I am my own flower-
I am not like the rest-
     I am an individual.
This field of wildflowers,
Filled with stems and petals
That may seem the same-
Yet so exceptionally different,
Is simply a community.
What makes this vast meadow
So whole and complete,
Is every distinct blossom
Coming together-
Creating a natural
Convergence of unique,
Beautiful, living beings.

She was a wildflower
Sprouting wherever she pleased.
She could brighten the world
With her delicate petals.

Even when the season changed
She stood tall
Through the wet rain
And the dusty drought.

She looked so lovely
She looked so lonely
She looked so beautiful
She looked so dangerous.

Little did I know,
That she was poisonous
To nobody
But herself.

The birds stopped singing
That fateful day
The rain stopped playing
The drought never came

The seasons stopped changing
As that beautiful wildflower
Began to lose her petals
And die.
