im starting to realize
that love wears a different mask
every time it comes into our lives
teaching us a lesson
and then leaves
— and im okay with that.

but sometimes,
in the most rarest occasion,
love decides to wear the same mask
this time, not to leave
but to stay
— and you'll welcome
love with open arms.
it hurts but ill get by and move on from this. thank you for everything.

Droplets of rain marbles
splatter on the tin roof
and weigh hungover leaves,
anticipating summer's sweat.
Conga circles drum cricket croaks,
their symphonic looping chorus
dazes time as stars gaze.

Rabbits are everywhere,
halting but not fazed by my high beams
while the tornado siren sounds,
my cue to get naked.

Atlanta reigns the ***** and pills,
so I stay far away,
just ninety three miles south of these hills,
we can't trust me in that place.

Little fingers with nails that tame tigers
Who innocently belly dance to telletubbies
Sunrise on your face every time a smile triggers
You dance to the beats of my heart like piping bees

Momma and poppa work so hard for your diaper
Gladly with mild poo you will sit on the sofa
Looking at the news wishing it is over
In your eyes I could see you wish this world is better

Tabula rasa until your first ******* hunt
Milk for you  till you had your first spaghetti
In my life you are the most beautiful font
And in this world, you are before any

I found a place,
I found a home.
Within these halls
I can freely roam.

I heard the whispers
and endless calls;
I found a home
inside these walls.

Where letters roam
these open doors;
I let my voice
flow evermore.

A shelter from the outside storm.
A shelter where I found a home.
A place to share my love for poems.
A place where I can freely roam.
There's nothing as beautiful as finding a place where you belong, a place where you can hide from the storm of life and find beauty in streams of letters.

When I when I haven’t really touched
Anything
For a long time
Where was I?
Lost, roaming
Caged,waiting.
Content being in the shadows.

Today I need to be present again.

I called myself.

She’s Shy; Too used to the shadows.
Too Weary and Atrophied from Disuse.
    Rusty from Mistrust.

Ever cynical
“No it’s just a false alarm,
      It isn’t time yet. “

I Beckon to her
      Still unsure.

I give her some Energy.
I wait.
Patience.

“I’m here. What do you need? “
