Sun peeking through clouds
white pearl buried in the sand
revealed by a wave

You’re a force of nature. The wind had to stop and catch its breath after seeing you.

The sun has to squint in your presence.

Your voice stops the waves and sings the moon to sleep.

You tell thunder to be quiet and the skies turn blue.

Dancing with lightning and the lightning is you.
First line: 4:45 am in the middle of sleep
You waved and stood
Watching as we left

I looked back and you
Stood a little longer

In moments like these
I think, maybe, you regret

For you feel the slice
Of the sacrifice you chose
Day 328

The wave looked small from a distance
But they stood beside us with their large ships
“We’ll fight” they said
“Together” they said
Then when it came with all its glory
There was no one left but us
Fighting the water with our small rickety boat.
I always thought that standing against the current was easy, it’s not. The wave is big and loud and hard.
And I don’t know if it’ll take me down with it or not.

I know you don't see me
I know even if you could, you wouldn't look
But I'll wave goodbye anyway.

Dancing in a circular motion,
I can see you until the horizon.

Transmitting energies all through,
on a wonder of a liquid bright blue,
I can feel it on my feet as you turn into,
that mighty current not relenting even if I talk you into.

Just as you pull me into you,
I may stay put or swim towards you,
for no matter where you go,
coming back to me again is why I say thank you.

A smile is a
       Stone skimmed  into

the sea of life.

It'll ripple outwards,

      Washing up on others
             Shores.

A smile travels  along way,
       See how far yours can

Make waves.
