some dream of warmth
some dream of flying

some spend mornings lying
balancing on the edge
between sleep and awake

half dreamt images
of dancing flames
closeness
heat warming their face

or lingering sensations
of falling
remembering soaring
through the sky

meeting someone
share the dream
such a rarity

find and be found
instead of searching
the reason we search

few words needed
when minds mere touch
feel like home

to know already
the smile in your voice
to words not said

the touch of your hand
in mine
without holding

few words needed
none allowed

to share a dream
is unspoken

there had been signs to indicate
you too hid matches in your coat

if one were to find them now
others not to be ignored
remember

tasting on your skin
a silent longing for
someone to share your skies

nothing now in your eyes
but squinting back to see

attempts at finding
wordless answers

some do not remember dreams
they have but half dreamt images
lingering sensations

if you had but asked
if only I had shared
I never wanted flying

I dream of fires

"Yeah, i had a pretty normal childhood"

You used to beg your mother to let you wash the dishes
Because it was the only way you could warm up your hands.
I hate doing the dishes but frostbite is worse

I’ve always wanted the mountains
The cold, French love, and fresh snow
Rain, writing as my passion, pale and
On my own

You’ve always wanted the warm beach
The rays of sunshine, Spanish romance,
The sand between your toes, with a
Family and God by your side

I’ve imagined a family, as I’ve gotten older
I’ve imagined warmth and people
I’ve learned to be faithful and to love
A romance of a new language, waves
Crashing into me with more force than
I can stand

Your dreams became mine, my dreams became
Your lips on me forever. Rings that
Symbolize more than pride and wealth
Children that look like you
Warmth in the life that has only known the cold
A future with you

The air is cold
The dirt is too
But the bench is warm
When I'm sitting next to you

Waking up finding the cold
wrap around me like a ghost
Grabbing me tight holding me
in his grip
Trying to warm and break free
It reminds me to think and
remember what I know
It's only in my thoughts
think warm think warm
It's then I begin to feel
the heat and warm I do
No thanks to you

Love is sometimes near.
As near as hugs yet still trying to get closer.

Love is sometimes special.
It's discovering new things and embrace them.

Love is sometimes warm.

But some other times,
Love is far.
Sometimes it's untouchable nor reachable.
But you won't feel the distance.

Love is basic.
Sometimes it's the same old things that happen continuously.
But you cherish it anyway.

Love is cold.
Sometimes it's much colder,
And yet you can feel her warmth.

Because,
Love is there.
Every single day.
Every single night.
Every second.
Every blink of an eye.
because love contradicts

"Beautiful" he whispered so softly

With a look so soft yet so hungry

And with touches warm as the sun

She suddenly felt free
they looked in my eyes and told me i was beautiful in my lowest hour

Nakedly bottled.
Capturing bursting seasons
here and now.

Life, delicate in its notes,
the top notes,
lithe as youth,
citrus and bloom,
ever briefly,
recondite pleasure,
a suppliance of time
a rush that fades away.

Heart notes,
the flesh of our days, unfold—
warm spices, florals, deeper and continues to exude as winter winds careless breath.

In the middle years, the scent sits and blares and mellows—a steady pulse of sandalwood and musk.

Sultry as the scent may have lingered,
flirtatious colors in the breeze’s hair
the base notes come,
the earthier tones,
amber and resin,
heavier on the air,
decays a final wisp
until faint on the skin.

A memory is born.

Sun
The sun, It's bright
And warm
But like you,
It's out of my reach

Coldness resides in my veins,
and no amount of heat can keep me warm
My body is craving his embrace,
to revel in the warmth of his touch
