It was noon, sometime in mid-July;
Imagine the road, a twisting highway to my grave.
The bus, a roller coaster ride unhinged from the tracks.
Dodging missiles with headlights, horns rattling my nerves.
Just another three hours.

It was midnight, somewhere out at sea,
Somewhere in the universe, the Milky Way, another galaxy.
A shallow heartbeat, a distant echo of a Chinese Karaoke show, but all else was still.
The stars never seemed so vast, and I remembered that they were bigger than me,
I was just a speck.

It rained on the way back to ** Chi Minh,
The roads turned to rivers, the scooters grew ponchos; under them a family of three.
The city brought chaos; sad, tired faces, begging for one thousand ****; a cent.
The children danced in the downpour, jumping over sticks
Like hopscotch.

I thought of Ha Long Bay, just the night before,
I couldn’t hear the silence; I couldn’t see the stars; a dingy hostel ceiling, grumbling strangers snores.
I went to sleep dreaming of peaceful valleys, fresh spring waters, trees as far as the eye could see,
For tomorrow was a new day,
The next part of my journey.

O wanderer
Dweller of the heart
Musing the soul

Away from the crowd
Beneath the surface
A lovely landscape
With an audible melody
Deep in a trance
In another dimension
Saw a ray of light

And I see
The same light
And the cosmos
In your eyes
No wonder
You’re my guide

Her restless feet,
take her somewhere;
where she can finally meet
the sky and the ocean.
For years she've been waiting;
barefoot wanderer longing for
sand and sea salt,
sunsets by the shore.

Rubayiat Al Thurab (Verses of the Dust) – 48

BismillahIr RahmanIr Raheem

I am subtly a wanderer, a wanderer alone;
There is amply no sacred place for me in eternal heaven,
And the earth remains no possible means to me.

My dear heart, is in lasting peace,
As I, fondly grasp my Beloved!
Therefore, I walk alone on my chosen path,
Someday, somewhere I can rest peacefully,
In his fond remembrance and in his deep love!

But I couldn’t discover that sacred place,
The holy place must be dearer than all;
Better than the eternal heaven and the sacred earth.

I naturally heard about that sacred place,
Its exist somewhere, I must properly locate,
After many moral miseries and willingly suffer,
I undoubtedly discovered that sacred place.

Its undoubtedly exist in my noble Beloved heart,
So I start traveling towards that sacred place.
All alone on my chosen path, so I can rest eternally!

The faqeer (Holy Wanderer) won’t search for any eternal love.

The eternal love itself eagerly begs for him,

To be uniquely his loved once.

He naturally becomes a Faqeer (Holy wanderer) means;

He scatters himself as a void vessel,

To be naturally filled with divine wisdom and love!

A sea of lush trees and mountains sprout out from her eyes and tickle the fringes of her lashes.

Each golden curl to every fiery, auburn swirl of hair snaps with electricity, like firecrackers bursting against a dawn smeared sky.

Long, aristocratic fingers with smooth palms that she weaves through the air, accentuating her every word.

She walks, breathes, and laughs Magick.

I’d follow her over every fallen log in our overgrown fantasies. I’d swing over every stream, swim up every waterfall, and dance on our bare feet until our toes were full of twigs and stones.

I’d skip with her through the cosmos, my shining ray of sunlight.
Honestly, she’s one of the most ambitious, honest, genuine people on this plane of existence. I’d stay up until the wee hours of the morning with her, giggling, reading, playing Animal Crossing. She’s been my best friend for nearly 16 years and I love her with all my being.
Fallen angel who lost your wings
In order to see you smile again
I traveled to a dungeon
I am lost in the dark
Drowning in despair
And my heart came
close to breaking many times
But every-time that happened
I would see a vision of you
You shook my soul
I killed my weaker self
And continued fighting
I wandered the dungeon
Disposed of my enemies
I became more powerful
But there was just one important thing
I couldn't find
A spell to heal the wounds
that torment you
Powerless and defeated
I was wrong
I had to go home
Knowing all you want is my presence
My love, wait for me to come home.
Where you love brokenhearted things
You do sort of things that could help
Them stop pleading and weeping
no matter how
no matter what
it takes.

I was wanderer,
Wandering in the land of death and despair;
Blows and bruises were my food
Blood and tears, my drink.

I was a wanderer,
Wandering in the desert of solitude;
The sands were of broken promises
The sun was my life's Judas.

I was a wanderer,
Wandering in the forest of fear;
The trees were all overpowering and bullying
The animals were all predators.

I am still a wanderer,
Wandering in the infinite land, desert and forest;
In search of a home to where I belong
In a quest to find solace in the stillness.
