My life is foretold in every crevice of this universe,
in serene seas, and swaying sands,
in scorching degrees and holding hands,
with a lover in my longing arms,
fires raging, and yet i am sheltered from harm.
and throughout my journeys,
it is my deepest desire,
to ignite and set my ambitions on fire,
in the midst of euphoric dreaming,
with my lover on this late summer's evening.
and i shall be at one with the stars,
and my doors in life shall forever remain ajar.

Walk into this space it is endless
sublime congruence with the heavens
open is the third eye looking directly at abyss
i feel a divine hint on my skin
as if it were a celestial kiss
there is no need to travel in doubt
it is written across the evening canvas
open the gates of exotic awareness

It is writhing, it is gifting, entrusting me, and quaking,
yet I, within mine, remain still.
Fore be it told, and beneath footless form, it's subversive,
yet, I dance a sure tango, uphill.
I must be sure, so sure not to mind lone notches and disparity,
as crevices, you see, they arch to transverse.
Fearing but forging the depths of what is migration, we say,
from this hallowed tangle be my rise, my verse.

I’m floundering, I grant, when I think I hold discovery,
so, I tug at the rein of imprint and plan.
It is here my beloved reliance, my precious doubtless tread
is afforded the fair crossing of Pan.
So, although it contests and chides and outreaches,
I am in love and as love, an apprentice.
A conquest won, no never, but here, a concession, a regard-
I am, with no poet’s journey, amiss.**

Lilting ebulliently in ineffable fields of ecstasy.
Mellifluous waves, in life's voyage,
inure us to pulchritude paths, refined by old age.
Multifarious, nascent jubilant days, swaying in paint,
array the way as we sail away.

I sat beside my dear old friend,
Who’d gone and died last night,
When in our boat on gentle seas,
I saw a welcome sight.

In the distance stood an island,
In the brilliant evening sun,
Atop, a lighthouse standing proud,
I knew it was the one .

It sat atop a rocky plot,
A gray and barren place,
Where in it’s majesty around,
It lit its shining face.

There had to be someone there,
I thought to myself inside,
I started to bury my now dead friend,
At the turning of the tide.

I walked around to see him there,
My Captain standing fervent,
He said with a smile warm and glad
“Well done my faithful servant.”

He lead me to the lighthouse,
Where a feast had been prepared,
Where many other sailors were waiting,
While the lighthouse mirrors flared.
My child, my lover,
Come away to discover
Continents far and new!
To love and to sigh,
To dream and to die
In a land as exotic as you!
Humid suns wink
Behind cloudy skies
So alluring and charming
So strangely alarming
With crocodile lids blink
Like the tears in your eyes.

There, all is order, beauty and leisure
Luxury, calm, quiet and pleasure.

Wood panels beaming
Polished and gleaming
Would decorate our room;
The rarest of flowers
In the height of their bloom
We’d while away the hours
Inhaling amber in our lungs,
Walls with deep mirrors hung
Our souls would feast,
On the wonders of the East
Whispering a sweet native tongue.

There, all is order, beauty and leisure
Luxury, calm, quiet and pleasure.

The aqueducts have, nestled,
In a drowsy slumber
With vagabond vessels
Lined unencumbered
Their sails unfurled
They come from the ends of the world.
- The twilight sky clouded
Leaving pastures shrouded,
The canals, the entire town,
Glows amber and blue;
The night falls down
In a soft, warm hue.

There, all is order, beauty and leisure
Luxury, calm, quiet and pleasure.
A practice translation I did for my degree. I've tried my best to be true to the sense of the poem and the ideals of Symbolism, rather than making it either a direct translation or perfectly rhymed.
If you're an ocean
I'm lost at sea
Shipwrecked
Abandoning all I know
Your current
Sweeps me away
My eyes vanish
Beneath your waves

oceans blue and waters deep
adventure hides while i seek
vast clean space that doesn't age
new beginnings turn the page
the world is out for me to find
faces and names to which i’m blind
the world, she calls and beckons me
persuading me gently out to sea.

If our world ends in a year,
will we cling to our stubbornness?

Can humanity think more than ourselves,
and think about the greater good?

If you had to leave your family to save humanity,
will you leave your daughter, father, son, wife or any of your ilk to voyage into the stars for new home?

With the dying of our planet caused by humanity,
are we going to sacrifice everything so we could find a place like earth?

Human beings always seems to push our boundaries,
and our next voyage will be the stars!

If global warming destroys the world in a year,
will we stand vigilant in the coming tide,
and willing to allow the better of us to progress humanity?
So many thoughts crossed my mind as I watched the movie "Interstellar,"
with lot of profound questions, and emotional scenes to play on many ideals.
I am mused by what I can't seem to describe, and still trying to find clarity in such touching cinema.   Nothing in life is so simple, and sometimes our choices aren't good or bad, but picking the lesser of the two evil. Without spoiling anything, I encourage everyone to see without any expectation, or preconceived notions.

Just take a voyage into a cinema of possibility, to the ideal of probability, even if the scene is imaginary!

Fiery red and mystical ocean blue,
Hidden city dreams and some lonely nights
Then an outburst of abstract purple hue
When all the cosmos crafts an art so bright
A magic will be born and hold you tight.
Secret aura like such seeks your rare love.
No doubt, it knows your heart, the unheard plight.
Let the dew grip the stardust from above,
Flow with this old voyage till is anew.
And let all the colors dance just for you.

Within the blue expanses of your left eye
I see colossal expanding galaxies
white dwarfs, black holes and exploding super novae
vie with one another in the other eye,
expansion and contraction are created by your winks
to complete the picture of a universe without an end
oh! mother of everything, this wayward son is
only a spec, he dreams your vision, conjuring up immortality,
he traverses through labyrinths non existent
in the outer space, in his fragile space craft to reach
the galaxy in the shape of your heart,
this is all I can hope in my interstellar voyage
now undertaken, with my heart drumming
as the back ground score.

I am on a voyage to somewhere far
On a meagre boat, on an ocean vast
The water is calm but deep and murky
The day is pleasant but passes slowly

From here and there, and near and far
The mortals on board are a motley lot
Most are calm and pass time patiently
But few count every second covetously
   --x--
Like birds of a feather, they came together
To cajole the captain to go even faster
“By wind and current our speed is good”
To the deaf and dumb the capt'n preached

“We know better” they arrogantly said
And rallied all others to back their deed
Most kept quiet, but a few did concur
“Captain go faster, or we'll take over!”

The ruckus got louder and over heated
I closed my eyes and my ears I covered
“I'm above all this!, it doesn't concern me”
And escaped to a world of make-believe

But not long after, I was getting quite wet
I was sinking, I saw, along with the rest
*“If only I hadn't been such a **** coward,
If only I had made a stand, If only I had....

Floating on a grand barge,
Watch the man that’s in charge,
Pride and power in his voice.
The hammock gently swings,
Swaying in the wind,
Was this your final choice?

The animals are creating noise,
Barge-hands who look like boys,
The current’s getting stronger.
Flies settle on your damp chest,
Is this some sort of regal test,
Close your eyes a moment,

Just listen to the breeze.

You’re here, it’s here
They are, all here,
No one really cares.
Dream of a storm, can you hear?
There is no need for you to fear
Fingers on the rippling surface,
Drops like tears
You know now that it’s too near,
The diamond sky is just too clear.
Watching the shore fade, hear the cheers

You’re leaving dear.
