they say men are from Mars
and women are from Venus
but i wonder what takes so long
for us to cross paths
perhaps
it's what the astronomers tried to declare
that Mars and Venus never does
and will never intersect orbits
with millions of miles in between them
or what the astrologers tried to foretell
that a love unknown as a nameless star
can never really shine in the first place
because of the thousands of miles between us
but even if it takes an infinity of time or space
for us to reach one another
i would still stay and wait
by your side, i will hover
what matters for now is
i found you
amidst many others
i saw you
even in the dark
and i love you so
hi there! i havent written in a while for a friend!!
this time, here's one for esther my egg **** and her mingyudon boy **

fun facts i discovered as i wrote this:
- venus is also called the morning star/evening star; it's the brightest in the night sky after the moon!!
- mars has the tallest mountains in the entire solar system despite being the second smallest planet (TOL LIKE KMG)
- venus is love venus is beauty (obviously like esther<3)
- pieces of mars have fallen on earth
- venus is the hottest planet in the SS
- mars will have a ring one day (wedding ring or?????teehee)

You stood there,
Sensuous, beautiful.
Like Venus herself..
I stood there,
Kissing you, touching you.
Only, from the shadows...

you shine bright as the sun
you're as beautiful as the
stars in the night sky

you're more brilliant
than a shooting star
more rare than a comet

i'm red with anger
much like mars
over not being in the
same room as yours

your blue eyes
draw me in and
make me feel safe
and comfortable

much like uranus
and neptune
their beautiful pale blue
color matches your eyes

don't forget the kindhearted
yellow color of venus
named after the goddess
of love aphrodite

that planet can represent
my love for you
because you're my light
in the darkness

of all space
and to end this
know that if you leave
like pluto

i'll miss you dearly
so please stay
another lightyear
and be my moon

together we'll create harmony
within ourselves
and within each other
because we're all stars

A sleight of hand, and a boot that fits. Tightly; so tight a long walk seemed a step backwards.
So he walked, around the rings of Saturn, given the spins. He dances, a waltz for Venus.
He manages to steal his own heart, before she can.
Been a year, and I'm still here. If that isn't something, then I don't know what is?

P.S. If you caught some of the inspiration, then you are one of the reasons I write.

Tripping over
a mountain
of paper
filled with manic
ramblings
to the grim
reaper
or to Venus

Who could tell?

There is not a big
difference between
love and
hell

When the sun cracked
the planets exploded
each merely shrapnel in a second-
or like the gas giants
puttering into kaleidoscopic spirals
and waving a
symphonic farewell to the universe
grasping the furtive tails
of comets.

mercury shrank into a cindered ball
venus ejected its poisonous atmosphere
like a dying woman her most expensive dresses
mars spun off into the velvety expanse of dark-
but it didn't matter.
only the earth wavered, holding on
to its dignity. Its oceans spilled out,
mottled soup shooting from a bowl,
and its internal fires groaned like arthritic
knees.

In the huge expanse of space
no one noticed,
no one cared.

Venus did her thing again. There
in South sky of dawn.
Winked her shimmering darters where
fully aware, I was her pawn.
Witnessed this all did shivering fawn.

And my little deer glided. Soon
to leap then away.
Chased by diminishing stars and moon.
O so soon this break of day.
Venus left then knowing, her love astray.
I took inspiration for this poem from Robert Browning's "My Star," which is the first poem ever read to me by my mother. That tawny paged collection of poems sits on my nightstand to this day. Of course, I had a certain love goddess in mind as well, my dearest Phatima.
She didn't want to be found, unless he was mystery man
Doesn't give permission to be touch unless he carries blistering hands
O yes he must be experience, give me the history of a man
who flirts with fire and and and dares to love again
a war zone he must enter , fight each enemy of my mind
Save me from myself and paradise he shall find
Give me a prisoner of curiosity
Who remembers everything  left unsaid
killed by my mystery but keeps coming back again
Intellectual to know I am rough, but brave enough to dig deep
and find I have diamonds between my thighs and a heart of red ruby
Give me the world but a place I can loose myself here on after
He who is brave enough to love the beautifully broken, imperfect, a beautiful disaster
Challenge my powers and not afraid to be the man to stand alone
against the wrath of a woman burned by Hell's fury or cries of rainstorms
Push me to the limit, carry me through my fears
Build me to be better and unconditional love is  here
Seek the secrets I conceal, and watch a cover girl reveal
Mars, a flame is sparked. Be a moth burned by the fire
Give me passion, courage, strength and in return be loved by Venus's Fire
All woman are not build with "sugar and spice and everything nice." Some are  built with fire. But it takes a %100 Man of Mars to love and be loved by a Women of Venus. #Venus in Aries
How can I
Mere mortal man
Write verse and rhyme of Venus?
For She is Herself
Poetry
These black days
These barren days
That turn my soul to ash
And char the fibers of my soul
And all because I must be away from Her

I am drained
In the absence of my Venus
I am pained
By the space now forced between us

But I will overcome the fractures
Not bested by this distance
For always has She been
Just beyond
The morning
The  horizon
The road
The hallway
Yet through these barriers
I have persevered
I have roared at the enemies that keep me from Her
I will not rest
No
I will not be satisfied
No
I will wager my everything on Her
Yes
For Venus
My all
I love your soul, fair Venus.
