do u ever
want to tell
someone
how proud u are
of their happiness

isn't that weird?

While you live, shine
Have no grief at all
Life exists for a short while
And Time demands its due

Walk above sacred paths
Touch all the hearts yonder
Youth withers as a black garden
And Death lingers like storms

Play about flower fields
Sing of stories and melancholy
Elysium awaits our perfect unity
And Serenity rests all eternity

Ride along lonely carriages
Romance shall ring faux prosy
Heaven yields a warm immortality
And Love awaits above - for you and I.
Based on Epitaph to Seikilos.

Begging, pleading, wishing to see another day,
Harder and harder as i start to sway,
Blood rushing to my head,
The demon inside me craves to be fed.

But i won't let it win,
Head up shoulder back key to beating this sin,
I'll battle until my final night,
Because this is my dying fight.

Everyday is something new,
I feel stuck as if in queue,
Tired of the same routine,
Waiting for the day i'm eighteen.

To be free.
To be alive.
To be me.
Stay alive.
fight against yourself all you have to stay alive my friends someone is watching over you.

At one, the concept of a bed is not quite there yet, but comfort never leaves
At three, one toddles into the sheets of their parents with no intention of sharing
At five, one begins to dread getting up for school
At seven, friends get one through the morning
At nine, one still complains about waking up so early
At eleven, minds begin to change
At thirteen, one lays in bed during the morning in a cloud of self-consciousness
At fifteen, one tosses and turns with thoughts of homework and that cute girl at lunch
At seventeen, one stares at the popcorn ceiling contemplating the future, threads of some unknowable as heavy as lead intertwining the possibilities
At nineteen, one can bend under the burdensome troubles and be sequestered to their comfort at home
Or lift the hulking sheets, Atlas, and go on. Go on to the complex, enigmatic world and return when one is done.
There is so much life to live, and yet we have many reasons to stay in bed.

We’ve all heard it
The ups and downs
Of life we’ve all felt them both

And life right now
Is like a boat
That’s starting to overflow

And yet with this
This simple truth
I would just like to say

This slant of life
Is going up
And tends to go your way

Do not throw out
These words I say
I mean them serve you well

Your life is short
So don’t hang on
To when you are not well

Alas it comes
My parting words
So please lend me your ear

Don’t give up hope
Don’t get so down
Your happy days are near

The tranquility one finds
On the road to sustainability.
Is the food the soul requires
To journey through eternity

A soul that is tormented and anguished
By the expectations of a reality
That barely does enough to maintain
The sanity of its humanity.

Is a soul that is stuck in the routine
Of a life lived dreaming a dream.
And never quite seeing any signs of relief
From the constant need to eat, work, sleep

But if one allows oneself
The opportunity to embrace our unity
Then the mundane society controlled by psychiatry
Falls away in a beautiful cascade of pain washed away.

As you finally face your place in this race
To get to a top that never seems to stop
And you finally see that the top they mean
Is the spot that let's you control the 'free'

But if you decide to be free and be like me
Then make a decision and start the dream
Don't talk of tomorrow because it's time that you borrow from the Today that is, and always has been,
The perfect day for your life to change.

i’ve drowned in sorrow regularly
as if you couldn’t tell from the saltwater tracks running down my cheeks
or the gasps of air that i pull into my lungs before the suffocating starts again
but i’ve suffered
my personality is secretly drenched from sorrow
every grandiose display of life is soaked in tears
and yet
i still say that i’m okay
because i am
and i will be
because i will learn to lie on my back
admire the thunderstorms raging around me
and just float

your worth
cannot be defined
by those who judge you.

only you can define
your self worth.

sometimes people cloud your vision,
but you are worth everything.

you
are
enough.
You are the narrator of your own life!

"JUST SAY IT!"

Tell her that she's beautiful.
Build her up!
Tell a woman that she's lovely and she's a Queen even if the attraction isn't there tell her.
she's amazing tell her she has a beautiful soul tell her she's oh so wonderful.
Someone is attracted to her
so be aware.
Tell her she is wonderful even when her beauty isn't something stunning.
Build her!
Because somewhere to someone she is beautiful
to someone
she is attractive
to someone
She'd be a blessing.
and if you are to be her amazing
Just say it build her.
Tell her she is beautiful
Tell her she's amazing
Tell her she is the sweetest thing.

Compliment her.
Just say it adore her just do it build her up.
Just do it.
Remember that somewhere Someone would be happy to love her..
Bless her.
With words you can give like a tree.
Adorn her with ornaments with the sparkling diamonds of your words.
Uplift her and her smile should warm you.
Her glow should bless you when she adores you.
Just do it.
Just say it.
And look past everything else and watch her be her most confident self.
Because you didn't hide your words on the Shelf
You placed them in her where they can grow.
So Just Say It.

You look at a person
A stranger, a loved one, a partner
And you think;
How can one person be so beautiful?
Inside and out you see an aura of unimaginable beauty
A friendly face
An intoxicating laugh
A smile that makes you smile without even realizing it

And then you look at yourself
You hate the way you smile, all crooked and mouthy
The way your cheeks are too pudgy
Your glasses too big for your face
Your voice too soft to break through the chatter of others

But you
You are a lion whose voice is booming thunder
With claws that can tear through the veil
The one you’ve kept yourself shrouded in for too long
You should be proud
Proud of your wild and unruly mane
Proud of your scars earned from battles with many others
Not to mention the battles you wage on yourself
You could move mountains and uproot trees if you tried

But you don’t
You look at yourself
Your cheeks too pudgy
Glasses too big
Voice kept under lock and key
Vocal chords dusty with disuse
Your heart is so big and so beautiful
You see so much in everyone else
But can’t bear to see anything in yourself

You are a wild flower sprouting through the cracks in the sidewalk
You could move mountains and uproot trees if you tried
please be gentle on me i haven't written anything in so long
