Let’s start with the obvious

-We did not choose each other as family members.
-As close as everyone should be, we are not because of petty problems and other trivial things that shouldn’t matter.
-The ones who say we should be close are the main ones causing unnecessary division.
-We cry together more than we ever laughed together.

Let’s move to the facts

-Life is short.
-That anger you are holding against whoever is something you’ll have to one day answer for.
-A relationship should not be one-sided. If they reach out to you, it does not hurt to return the favor.
-You can feel how you feel about a situation, but you do not need to get in the middle of it.

Let’s move to the hard truth

-Family reunions happen at funerals.
-A family get-together is not a wrestling match neither a reality show with cameras.
-Everyone needs to let old hurt go and break generational curses.
-The word family had meaning to it, but now it is merely a loose term.
-Blood was thicker than water, but it dries up quicker than a small rain puddle.

And we were supposed to be all we had.
Do better.

You are trying so hard to distinguish yourself.
But you are despairingly plain hoping that you have a sliver of uniqueness any other person holds for granted.
You pride yourself to be different, to walk on a different path.
Yet we are all the same.

next to her
and looked at her,
- i thought, - a mound with a soul
that I could smell,

smelled like a wolf near the deer

i could see her with my own mind
as she was in the light of the day,
beautiful as she was and overly attractive.

Aren't you sleeping?

I heard her.

I had no air
writing from the masculine side
Constantly it changed everything.
Overthrows hopes among people,
Varied thoughts, feelings, and demands
Ignites humans’ inability to understand, how
Deadly this virus can be.

Its existence
Creates a big change.
A change that made everything
Fall into place and Space
Or nearly destroys what’s in order.

How did the virus earn its crown?
It is on its pedestal!
Corona,
Corona, the virus!
Virus and it's viral.

Could it be a blessing or not?
Could we be grateful that it exists?
Or it merely
Destroys
Harmony and order.

Corona,
Consoles people
Offers love and care to others;
Reunites shattered and damaged ones;
Nestles kindness and patience to one and all;
Allows bonds and relations to grow deeper.

Is it an epiphany?
A sort of vision to see how beautiful our future will be,
If everyone cares to see the good in each other?
To admire and to appreciate the efforts and hard work of all men
Regardless of life status?
Is it not great to see how people around the globe love one another?

This pandemic shocked the world indeed.
It paved a way to heal what’s broken
Living and non-living things;
Yes, let us include everything that God has created.
We have forgotten our sole responsibility to His gifts.

Corona,
Cures and heals.
Optimistically changes the heart of many;
Rhetorically awakens all to contemplate;
Obliged everybody to care;
Now, behold and pray.

This too shall pass.
Many have died but this would not end
Your hope and faith.
Together we fight,
Together we uncrown
Corona!
from my book ABCs of LIFE

This too shall pass. Keep safe everyone.

May broken hearts be mended,
Broken dreams come true.

May the fractured human rapport,
be restored like t'was of yore.

May the poor and the needy,
Find means to prosper and grow

May the cheated and defrauded,
Get justice recompense their due.

May the lonely ones in prisons,
Chained for causes untrue,
Be freed of unjust detention,
Their honor restored too.

The oppressed tribal Indians,
whose home this nation's too,
Uplifted and empowered
Their right to live ensured.

The battered Indian woman,
Bearing violation cruel
Of a patriarchal nation,
Liberated at last be soon.

Humane, magnanimous people
Valuing lives above faiths and notions.
Indians together as one brethren,
Trekking onwards, one destination.

With everything going on in our land
I call for you all my dear friend.
From plains to mountains, and from the arid sand
Time has come to hold our hand
And echo your love for all so grand
And let know how far it span
Let us show we love when we can
As in times like this, who knows when,
Again we get to cheer with a beer can.

MEANING OF CHRISTMAS. A GOOD CHRISTMAS

Christmas does not only mean: celebration, making merriment nor winning and dining season. It's a lifestyle, A good Christmas implies: salvation, love, liberation, and Christmas mean a lot it's freedom, deliverance. It mean: Sharing with the poor even the less privilege, the lower classes. That's a good Christmas, when you can supply the masses through and on behave of Christ Jesus. Feeding his masses Christmas is albout uniting and making everyone feel loved again even if that once at every year end. That's why Christmas-s and a good Christmas!

Break the rules - not promises
Break the chains - not hearts

Make amends - not enemies
Make a brand new start

Take a stance - not hostages
Take control - not lives

Do what's right - not easier
Dream like butterflies

Have the guts to be yourself
Have the grace to go

Love yourself no matter what
Let your spirit glow

Had the line "Break the rules - not promises" for a long long while in my 'started but unfinished' backlog...
Listening to Taylor's 'folklore', came up with the rest (almost) in no time.
Thanks, bae!
Here's to a better, happier 2021 for us all!
