Your love is abundant
You tell me you love me at my worst
At my goofiest and at my most stupid
When i'm too drunk and acting a fool
Your love is abundant
You tell me not to worry
Not to overthink
To not question your love
Your love is abundant

my love for you
is too unconditional
that it writes.

A love that learns to see
The individual
Is a love that sees the whole
Not their residuals
George Krokos Nov 2019
The love between us isn't as it ought to be
for true love is much deeper than the sea.
We both stay on the surface breathing air
but love dives deep in one's heart there.
We seem to give in diminishing returns
whereas love pours out more as it burns.

The problem lies in our incompatibility
and physical attraction we think is free.
Appearances can be very deceiving here
together with ignorance born out of fear.
We both desire and need the same thing
though for all we know it isn't as lasting.

We're so demanding in a shallow way
but love doesn't ask for things to play.
If love bothers us with a good reason
it's because of the time in due season.
Our lives are caught in an invisible net
and real love will draw us together yet.

Love and beauty often will go hand in hand
and there's nothing that they can't withstand.
Two people looking for love are sure to meet
no matter in what conditions they both greet.
The love and beauty they'll see in each other
will be like the kind found in any true mother.

We are all looking for unconditional love
that may only be found in the Divine above.

I won’t ask you to buy me roses
Or pay for my meals.
I don’t ask that you only look my way
Even if I’m only looking yours.
No need to sing me to sleep
Or kiss me in the morning.

But I will choose to
Climb to the treetops
So I can reach out and
collect the stars for you—
Take them all, they glow more in your arms.
Don’t fret my problems
I didn’t fall in love you to have you share
The weight of my anxieties and insecurities.
You can even leave.
If you told me you wanted something more
Than the stars that I pick for you,
I would climb towards the night sky once more,
Pick out the finest in the sky,
And place them into the palm of your hands
Hoping that I can leave you with something
That you can take with you before you leave.

I love you so much that I would never burden you
With my cries asking you to stay.
I will love you in my silence hoping
That you can walk straight with the weight
Of what you never had to carry.
And even if I am one day left in the darkness
Of my starless sky,
I will still love you in all my emptiness.
So for now, all I ask is
Please, let me love you now.

A world so cold
caught in a thunderstorm
it's all we have ever known
pain and suffering
in a world so cold
heartaches and tears
scrolling down
on a radiating storm
furiously and incomprehensible
I used to see everything black and white,
then you woke me
I used to think everything was,
but then you woke me
I used to think of everything black,
but then
You saved me from — a constant battle in the storm.
I'll be your loudest cheerleader
Even when the stands are empty
Be it with or without merit
I love you unconditionally

My life, I would gladly lay to rest
If doing so would preserve your own
To pull you from the depths of Hell
Without regret, I would sell my soul

Yet as my armour begins to rust
Exposing my open wounds
I realize I'm no longer strong enough
To carry us both through

Have courage to climb higher each day
Than you did the day before
Remember how to use your wings
When you're finally ready to soar

Your feet will never leave the ground
If you haven't the faith to leap
But you can bounce from star to star
If you're not afraid to dream

Be not defeated by trials you'll face
Silence the rhetoric of loathing and grief
Realize that through the ugliest of pain
We become our greatest masterpiece

I pray you find your way back home
With the map I made for you
My only wish for you, sweet child
Is that you find joy in all you do
A poem for my children

From dusk to dawn,
Pain to rain
with water showering
the face of the innocent.
I was innocent then
so lovely made
And peacefully protected
From the tripling thundering
thunderstorms, as my heart thundered
Of creeps , creeping my feet.
Oh my mama made me.
When the enemies
put adversity of pain before me
Guess what, she prepared a table
of joy , giddy .
I stepped and rose .
When thorns , they laid , my carpet-
She shamelessly made me a bed of roses.
She said ," Roses are red."-
Mama the sky is blue.
You made me
Mama made me.
