I’ll trap you inside these lines so maybe then you will always be mine
This poem was inspired by a situation I’m going through. Hope you enjoy. Leave a comment ❤️
A rabbit hops happily

               In this lively forest,

                         Right into a trap

                                Now surely doomed.

But only the rabbit's at fault

For moving too fast,

And oh so confidently

The rabbit is snared.

They'd do anything
They could
Just to make you fall for them
Just for you to let your guard down
Lies after lies
Denials

You knew from the start
That they were liars
But you hoped maybe they weren't
So you gave in
And fell for their trapped
Now your trust's been destroyed
Secrets unleashed

And there's no one else to blame
Except for your naive self
For falling for a liar's lies.

nothing is faced
no trap, just me reflected in it
the mirror has a painters box sealed
i’m in the boxing ring with pallets
the painting has heavy gloves waiting
dings seem like a shock wave in my mind
state

my heart now counts a lot less with a view
of
blue soul, caving in from the top
this mirror has a hidden trap tripping
i’m starring at it as if i’m the missing piece
now the picture is shattered into myself
the portrait separated into a collage
the colors i’m boxed in with moves my
moods

I’m lost in these mirror states of mood rings

When things go rough and that we cannot grasp
And set our prime but destiny decline
We say, things happened for a reason

When things go wrong but not too wrong
Instead of death we've only received scathe
We say, things happened for a reason

As if someone had a concrete plan for us?
Such being amputated and losing our sight
Are just shenanigans, just blessings in disguise?

We believed, for after suffering, a safe haven
But truth is, things don't always happened for a reason
For every choice there's an equal share of delight and affliction

But then, a mortal mind had always shown
On losing situations we'd clung to the unknown
And maybe, just maybe, you're in the right situation

Because things happened with or without reason

Pressures,
forces,
twisting levers—
gears ratcheting down
little by
relentless
little
against a box with
no walls
and no way out.

Life is something that couldn’t be learned from a book or learned from man cause man isn’t perfect.
But man could teach wisdom and teach other from the wrong doings or mistakes one has encountered in life.
Gray hairs means old age but does not mean he is wise nor smart or god.
We Roam around.
We make ties.
We burn bridges.
We make up.
We stab backs.
We cry but we die but why...
I can’t comprehend this thing called death?
Why does my life have an expiration date?
Wonder what happens after we die Heaven or Hell thats something only the dead knows.

free as a bird I found myself out of the cage of love
a display of unrestrained delight
released from physical obstruction
only to realize freedom smelled like floral notes of sambac,
jasmine and tunisian orange blossom just like you

This space
with four walls
one window
and many bars
left alone
to thoughts
in this jail
called a heart
It's hard to let people in, but harder to let people out.

Love is someone kissing your forehead goodnight,
as your room is on fire.
But still falling into their sweet bliss.
Love is creating a trap,
and someone melting into it with ease.

Maybe I was foolish
for falling into your trap,
but to me, I was the sinister black sky
draped over our head;
you were the little fairy lights,
scattered around,
like paint on a canvas.
And I wanted nothing more
than to reach into that pool of shimmering darkness
and stare at its mesmerizing contents
from the palms of my hands.

When your hands danced on mine
you sent waves through my veins.
They crashed onto rocks
and into swaying ships.
When your lips dissolved on mine
I saw centuries of maps
of your blue divine.
Your beauty was a siren;
my mind a ship's crew.
