Where has time gone?

Yesterday I was with you.
We were at the beach, skipping rocks.
The sky was blue.

Where has time gone?

Today, it seems I am alone.
All these miles between us two.
Here the sky is gray.

If we be a day (today)
let's make tomorrow jealous

Question for today
Is real really real
What if it isn’t

Does anyone really know?

Dreamt quite lovely the sky by whomever,
drawn quite grey the day i wake to,
if all fallen from one mind then what has been?
What has been full of purpose,
yet flooded in grief and loneliness?

I am aware of the course of life, from point to point
but so little i know of where to go.
From here to there but where is it?
Let today shine bright
Choose my attitude this hour
Every thought I think
Spreads and ripples on with power
All the seeds I plant
Will in time bear fruit and flower
Today let my light shine bright

Choose well, for today I lose or win
Stand firm in the way that I begin
Stay bold, when others say to wait
Act today, before it grows too late

My success is sure
When I’m focused on today
And the prize I’ll gain
Helping others on the way
And my wealth will grow
When I confidently say
Today let my light shine bright

Choose well, for today I lose or win
Stand firm in the way that I begin
Stay bold, when others say to wait
Act today, before it grows too late

Have you seen my brain today?

I woke up and it was just gone. I'm wondering if those crafty gnomes didn't sneak off and haul it away.

Oh, what a dilemma. I simply don't know what I would do without my brain. How can I think or fasten my shoes, or lick jewels off shelters or watch beetles go passing by?

How can I compose or sing?
How can I burn fire with my eyes or watch liquid turn to ice or plants thrive?

But wait, I can achieve all of those things. My brain hasn't gone missing at all. It's been in my head this whole time
I've lost my brain

I’ve always had some days
that I dont exist.

Some days,
I just can’t try anymore.
I can’t be anymore; life's heavy.

When will I go a day and be
able to breathe through;

I’m still waiting.

I’m so happy,
But ******* sad.
It’s never gone away.

I just keep reaching and reaching.
Falling harder and harder every time. Drowning into myself and my suffocation.

It all feels so ******* unobtainable.

Someone made a world for
everyone. Except me.

This isn't war
There are no bullets
Just blood
Seeping from the holes
And fueled by the heaving
Of broken breaths
Ripping through my sides

And this isn't hell
There is no fire
Only scars
Charred into my skin
Traced by the fingertips
Of those who loved me
Of those I left behind
Maybe sometime I;ll find a place that I belong.
