Bits of me unlock and let go
Floating past what remains of my eyes
I am made of so many colourful peices
I exhale the last of my lungs
A pink cloud shimmers in front of my face
Lighter and lighter as my body departs
Floating upwards where the air is thin
Raindrops falling between the flecks of me
My being stretched just as thin as the air I travel through

Skin is far too tight and thin.
It can not possibly contain the soul of me.
I hope I don't make a mess when it all gives way.

This, today
Is your special day.

Twenty years ago today,
You were born to this world
By a loving lady and a tough man.

This, today
Is your birthday.

You were born
To love a lucky lady
And
You were born
To be loved by this lucky lady;

And I will stand by you
Through thick and thin.

You are my air.  I'll cling to you like how we all cling to life, space, and time.
*I will love you forever.
Happy birthday.
Happy birthday, Hon. I love you forever.

If you need to go beyond
And don’t want to play a game
You need not to walk or fun
Tool or trick or tact or fame

If no plan; you have at all
Talking about he or she
Any season or snow fall
Fly to have it like a bee

If your goal is miles so far
You have no food, fish or fin
No matter plane, train or car
Face no trip through thick or thin

Go with care be determined
And you have to see your past
You have your inner! You find
You will be succeed at last

screams, lies, denial, and deceit
love lay shattered at my feet
broken grief, bitter anger, and despair
hope it just vanishes into thin air

The more I stand here
     in this downpour,
The more I question if
the water is still flowing, or

if it's just my tears

Dripping down my frail body,
Cascading over each prominent rib,
And coursing through each protruding hip bone,

highlighting each defect with His gleaming smile
as if He knows something I don't.

And I wonder, just how many times
the Water will try to slip his slithering hand
around my wrist,
Before my essence follows Him down the drain.

And I wonder, just how many times
I have to hear how fragile
I must be
  Before my spirit melts entirely.

And I wonder, just how many times
  I'll be told how small
I am
Before my soul fades into nothingness

and I forget I exist as a person,
         not just
a Skeleton

Everything makes you wonder if you're good enough,
if you measure up.
But your standards are impossibly high for yourself.

Bars you can never reach,
but you stretch.
Stretch yourself so thin...
Just to get to it anyways.

Now it's time for the comparisons to stop.
To pull yourself back together and,
unstretch undoubt, unhide.

The best anyone can ever be is happy with themselves.

Ever notice that thick and thin start with the same three letters?

Ribs,
Protruding proof
Of a girl in pain
With a need for control.
Ribs,
A mark of willpower
Or is it weakness
A false sense of control
A puppet governed
By insecurity.
The monster inside,
Taunting.
Empty stomach
Is it applauding your strength,
Or growling at your cruelty?
