Your beautiful smile always has me smitten
Your body's curves, you don't keep hidden
why must the most precious fruit,
always be forbidden
Young captionologist
She’s a figment for vulnerable men
Who see beauty through self-loathing windows.
Her beauty is far too much to take when
It pierces the heart where passion’s sin goes.

Ashamedly smitten men curse their eyes
For beholding beauty they don’t deserve.
They seek her attention, she ignores their cries.
They grovel on their hands and knees to serve.

Her nakedness sows men’s basest skin’s need,
For intimate contact with lurid thought.
She is the temptress, they’ll follow her lead,
Through gates of despair their lustfulness brought.

She strikes men dumb just because she is there.
They have nothing real and pure to compare.

I’m not in love with you.
I’m not in love at all.
I want what isn’t mine but only for tonight.
More than one night would feel like commitment.
I’m not ready for commitment.
I want to feel the ropes tighten around my wrists as you release every ounce of aggression trapped inside.
I know she could never satisfy this desire burning in your blood.
But I'm not in love.
I just want to ****.

We locked eyes throughout the night.
But I couldn’t hold your gaze.
I felt my body temperature rising with every glance.
I turned away hoping you wouldn’t notice the smile spread across my face.
I never expected you to come up to me…
I still feel your hands around my waist as you whispered into my ear....
Little did I know I would crave more of your touch.
Hours passed…
I wanted more.
I wanted to leave.
With you.
I wanted to find an empty corridor where I could feel more than just your hand on my waist.
A passing touch wasn’t enough.
I needed to feel your body pressed against mine…
A mix of heat and passion as your skin touched mine.
I craved that sensation.
Something unfamiliar.
Wild.
Forbidden.

We all have a hunger
For more
Than what we have,
To be something we’re not

Not all itches are meant to be scratched

Caged marionette, dance for me
Your glass chains hold no reins
It's time to break free.
The Light only shows you known lanes,
I will lead you down greater plains.

Your gaze is uncertain,
You falter ever so slightly.
Fear not, lost kitten,
I am yours for eternity.

Young Antoinette, come to me
A train of sorrow ー your best dress
So throw away that leaden pedigree.
The old masters may try to oppress,
Noble heartache you must suppress.

You take one last look
As I wait for thee,
At the safe sullen rook,
A prison it will no longer be.

Naive brunette, sway with me
For the heart and soul you sold,
Was it not I who answered your plea?
Tonight, we shall step past a new threshold,
Its whereabouts ー to God and enlightened beings, untold.

In darkness and damnation,
You remain smitten with me.
With no fear or salvation,
We waltz through tragedies.

I hear it singing
from just beyond,
in the Unknown.
“I can make you so
happy”, it croons,
“whole like you
have never been”.
But there is
another voice
just behind me,
faint as the curve
on a drop of water,
that whispers:
“But at what cost”.

Thinking of you is a toxic euphoria,
a lovely danger,
you’re a sugar-coated wicked temptation,
comforting hurt,
a beautiful disease.

i

the empire of temptation
defied gravity

planets aligned
strung by locks of burgundy
asteroids plunged from her shoulders

pleiades eyes
shot like comets through defences
the core of my force field agape
holes spluttered butterflies
spawned from cosmic clouds

ii

i lay beneath her
transfixed by the depth of majesty
her galactic reign over night

i did not fall
i did not grow weary till daybreak
shielded by the blood of dawn
we faded into light and dreamt of taurus

gravity could not stop
the empire of temptation
