Change is difficult, but never deadly,
Choosing self, increase potentiality for eternity,
Wastelands, Oceans of undeveloped skill and ability,
Sincerity lost in everyone's life's scenery.

Non conscious breaths, only unconscious actions,
Self harm, unperceptive misconceptions in all our reactions,
Even Enlightened Minds perceive but a fraction,
Of self imbued virtues: too often viewed as an abstraction.

No God present, no Divine Intervention,
All reactive, on Earth, no single act of prevention,
No sacred arm from another place, maybe even dimension.
To stop our follies, machinations of evil, our only comprehension.

Yet...
Self imbued with self, potential forever increasing,
Only we can develop ourselves, I AM a human being,
Blessings for the taking, when blessing self,
May all find themselves, their balance, before their time of death.

Change is difficult, but never deadly,
Choose self and potentiality for eternity.

Opposites don’t attract, they exist in complimentary union at a distance acting in synchronicity.  Mirror me, am I you? Are we we? are you Yin? When I hurt do you feel pleasure? When we zig, we zag but we’re both in motion, in action.  Am I creating or just waving my waves about in space. Perhaps there is no my, there is no face.  existence is an amorphous blob, individuality a wasted case.

Strength
Is not
Keeping your head
Above the waves
It is sitting calmly
opposite
an advancing typhoon
Perfectly unstirred,
And perfectly unimpressed
By nothingness

Strength
Is not
Overcoming
But remembering
Your immeasurable
Greatness

It is surrendering
Yourself
To the pull
Of the seabed
And laughing
At the notion
Of death
BE.
Be,
Don't try,

Let thoughts flow,
Don't think.

Move,
Don't operate,

Unsee the unexpected,
Don't anticipate.

BE.
A masterful One hearing of the Tao
immediately begins to embody it.

An average One hearing of the Tao
half believes it and half doubts it.

A foolish One hearing of the Tao
laughs out loud, and yet
should fools not laugh,
it wouldn't be the Tao!

Thus t'is writ:
The path into the light seems dark,
the path forward seems to go back,
the direct path seems long,
true power seems weak,
true purity seems tarnished,
true steadfastness seems changeable,
true clarity seems obscure,
the greatest seem unsophisticated,
the greatest love seems indifferent,
the greatest wisdom seems childish.

The Tao is nowhere to be found,
yet it nourishes and completes all things.

Reiterated slightly from Stephen Mitchell's iteration.

Implications abound
from ethics to psychology
and onward to quantum physics,
and every quanta betwixt and beyond!

There are beings
who say and do.
They live in the future,
always making plans.

There are beings
who say, but don't do.
They live in the past,
dwelling on intentions.

There are beings
who don't say, but do.
They live in the now,
and are fully present.

What do you choose?
