Tell me a tale
Those that you bear from distances
Those that you covered with your feet
Those that you ran with against the wind
Those that you swam with ripples in oceans and seas
Those that you got out from that nomadic women's eyes, deep
Those you wept with in your dark nights
Those that stitched your heart back, glueing it back to its place
Those that take you back to the greener pastures and yellow meadows
Those which are rusty, covered in the dirt of that high trek you took
Those that I might have heard, recite them to me again
Tell me a tale
Help me put together my pieces, pull me out of my salvage.
An artistically woven
turquoise woolen
pullover made
out of the finest
moher fabric
made my day.

Made for you,
to be caressed
and cherished
as a perfect
garment.

It looked so good
on you, my darling!

Rainbow colors always
bring me happiness and
I gently touch you,
feeling already safe
as a deer in a flowering
forest; within narcotically
scented alluring hug, we
embrace again, tightly,
you and me, entwined.

Whiffed winds melody
played through tall pine
tree tops as a flute song
swaying branches. It seemed
as they are affirming our walk
along the shore, where the river
meets an ocean, hand in hand,
peacefully.

And, yet, every time the
strong cool breeze exposes
your magnificent masculine
figure in that woolen top,
my coolness faints into the
void and dissolves itself.

Our urge emerges!
I feel your fingertips touch
as a passionate flame dance
over my face, you turn my
head up toward your loving
gaze, wanting it so much,
slightly pulling me up
then burning my lips.

Our hurried steps are heard,
echoing as a rushed tempo
on the salty path, fresh air
lingers around us, leading
us to our charming summer
suite, to undress. And love.

Where's the fairy tale ending?
A white horse
A handsome prince
Instead there's a broken heart
Like shattered glass
To be stepped on
And swept away
With all the false realities.

“Your only gonna get hurt in the end”
Warnings coming in from left and right
Pushing you back yet pulling you in
The tears start to pour
At a steady rate that won’t ever stop.
It started like a fairytale
Ended like a nightmare
The pain wounding you deep
And leaving a scar so large it may never heal
He digs and he digs
Blissfully unaware of what he is doing to you
Living in his own world with her
Yourself uninvited.
This is the story
It has been told time and time again
It all begins with a girl and ends with a guy
Everything planned out perfectly
The beginning is hopeful
Girl meets Guy
Girl likes Guy
Guy shows signs of having feelings for Girl.
The middle expands on this
It is long and uneventful
Simply there to give the reader an idea of what is supposed to happen next
And progressing through the emotions of young artists
Their medium- love.
Girl and Guy fall in love, get together
Girl+Guy=perfection
Girl=Happy
Guy=Happy
Everything seems as perfect as perfect can be
Of course that doesn’t happen.
Not exactly
Not at all.
Insert the ******
Where a twist appears
The Guy meets another girl, the Friend of the Girl
The Guy gets together with the Friend
And shows no remorse or regret
No signs at all of knowing what could have been
The Girl is left in the dust
Surrounded by nothing but cracked fragments of her own heart
And the happy faces of the Guy and the back stabbing Friend
Together.
The Girl is still there, her feelings still strong
She knows that she isn’t wanted in that way anymore
The Friend has made that clear enough, through her own backstabbing ways
The friendship that was is now laid to rest
As eye contact is avoided, smiles put on in fakery
Seats are swapped to accommodate the pain that the Girl feels
The only cure being avoidance.
The ending is woeful
As the girl backs away slowly
From what has and could have been
Armed only with a pen
As she eases her way back to the beginning of the cycle
Heart cold
Silence strong
Her story has only just begun.
I hate how depressing this is.
Loving you is like falling in a dream
Closing my eyes and

F
A
L
L
I
N
G

S…l…o…w…l…y
and then
Allatonce
Opening my eyes to
Bright colours
Unexpected scenes
All around me nothing makes sense

You call me Alice.
Tell me I'm one of a kind, live in a fantasy world.
My reality is just different than yours
You make me drink the poison of my tears
And smile lopsidedly when I ask you why you never answer me.
Cryptic and vague, all smiles, you turn and fly around me.
You let me believe you are magic.

Which road do I take?
The roads is ending like the last chapter of a book I never got to finish
Where do you want to go?
I taste copper on my tongue
I don't know.
Your smile is too big and mine is too small
Then it doesn't matter.
I take a step forward and turn left.
I cannot see your head turning on itself
But I can feel your eyes of my back
Like little fingers pushing me forward
Into a new adventure

Loving you is like falling in a dream
Wondering if you will ever let me wake up
Snap out of your spell
Rub my eyes raw and realize
I am not Alice.

Take
me
away
with
a
well
tuned tale
of
tiny twigs twitching
to the
sweet, soothing sounds
of
swaying songbirds set seaward
to
shores
that
reach rocks rolled
upward
and
under undying undertones
of
washed, wayward welks woven with
the
wind
and
waves whispering water's ways
to the tune
of
twitching twigs
and the
sweet, soothing sounds
of
songbirds
taking
me
away
with
a
well
tuned tale.

If our love is a fairy tale,
I wish for a happy ever after
Let the moonbeams spark in white
And turn the gloom into laughter

If our love is a fantasy,
Let me call you My King
Or my beloved angel
And let me stay under your wings

If our love is a written story
Let it be the greatest story ever told
It is you that I want to be with
Only you when I grow old

So if our love is a fairy tale
Let the tale ends with a perfect smile
Let our hearts be filled with joy
The time I walk through the aisle...
Her dreams...

I don't wish to be miserable so I drown myself in a sea of whiskey and the rough waters of beer; but it makes me nothing more than a sad sailor, just letting the currents take me, a very sad life indeed; not something I would tell the boys at the dock bar; along with the tales of the mystic mermaid I saw in my haze of the ocean.

Upon a snow flake a word is centre
Caught within an exhaled
Breath
Revealed a moment
Of winters tale,
Each now like glass semi transparent
Every breath reveals another
But soon to white they turn
A story
Lost,
Absent,
Hidden
From view, the little one
Ran, scarpered as fast as little legs can go,
Mother,
Father,
Sister,
&
Brother,
Wait child what is the rush,
"A winters tale"
"I breathed upon it"
But the moment faded, the word was lost
They went out side
As gentle flakes feel,
She breathed upon a single tear of snow
As before the word glistened,
"Do you see"
"Do you believe"
Astonishment,
Wonder,
Confusion
Mouths ajar at what eyes just seen,
As before the moment passed
Word had faded as lost
In the fresh linen of snow,
Each was ready,
Inhaled breath
Exhaled,
Words appeared, glistening within
Mothers word was
"The"
Father exhaled,
"Meaning"
My brother sneezed upon one
"Of"
Mandy
"Ate one"
Then realised, exhaled on passing ones,
"Christmas"
I waited, as many fell upon
My face, I exhaled
"Is"
But as we breathed none did change,
Is what, then
Goofy barked, dog breath greeted
Flakes
Falling
Slowly,
The word brought a smile to all,
"Family"
They were still upon the blanket of white,
Each picked the chosen flake,
It was glass, as if the word etched,
Upon the mantle piece each sat,
"The Meaning Of Christmas Is Family"
We all smiled at the winters tale,
We each exhaled a breath and a story was told..

I remember that fight, 2:30 AM
  "Have you been drinkin'
To take all the pain away
If you wanna bring me down
   Go ahead and try
I'm not the milk and cheerios in your spoon
It's not a simple "here we go" not so soon
Can't you see that you lie to yourself
I'm not about to look at your face again
Why would you push me away
I'm through with playing by the rules of someone else's game"
Why do you have to go and make things so complicated
100 and five is the number that comes to my head
when I think of all the years I wanna be with you
I like you the way you are
There's nothing like us
There's nothing like you and me
You learn my secrets and you figure out why I'm guarded
You say we'll never make my parents mistakes
I was a flight risk with a fear of falling
Wondering why we bother with love if it never lasts
Too long I've been afraid of
Losing love I guess I've lost
Tears from eyes worn, cold and sad
Pick me up now, I need you so bad
Thought the chances of meeting someone like you were a million to one
You're the best thing that's ever been mine.
