Is the Sweet rhythms of flutes
Through the Midnight rain

Leaves dance; leave--forsake
Chides the rose, plight, soft peril
"-my dolce headache”
My first attempt at a haiku, bit of fun. Doesn't sound like a traditional haiku per say, who knows 🤷‍♂️.

Ev’ry day
None of us are Shakespeare
As we’re all great
In our own ways

The “thumbs up”s and “heart”s aren’t a
Reflection
Of who you are
So, keep writing Hello Poetry!
And fill our small world
With more stars
my love hate relationship with chocolate –
cause I really love that it tastes so good,
but hate that there’s never enough, or the
need for me to be sharing it. and to such
a treat, we are slaves; when asked what I
need the most between sugar and life –
I need both.

as I endure the whispers of a late snack –
telling chocolate to meet me at midnight;
even when you tell me too much of it is
unhealthy, please let me love the pleasure,
and let me live with the possibility of having
a few less teeth.

it’s my favourite treat, that if you bought it
for me; I’d do a favour for you in a moment’s
heartbeat – as my heart beats for such a
chocolate feast; I can’t help this chocolate heat.
dear reader
youve been up for hours
you seem so tired.
staring silently while you're crawling quietly tracing reality quickly devouring all of the star dust beyond.
you slip violently
ducking beneath rabbit holes and roots
the water rushing up to meet you
a harsh reality greets you.
fresh palm air ghosting through thine whispers of hair and the seagulls they blare a snappy tune
a cookie to grow
a potion to shrink
honestly a story
to make you think
nonsense!
you cry you bemoan you scream
where are the jokes
there wasnt meant to be any
it was ment to have a point
to make people think
the end is never the end is never the end
your twisted mind starts bickering
two cheshire cats? tweedle dee tweedle doo
tick tock
stop that clock
the small blue bunny runs far away
children with screens
implanted in their tummies
oh so yummy
so delicious
so impure
the rapture of the gods
the magic of beyond
sweet candy houses
tall angry mouses
a dream or reality
who is to say
forced joliety
joy
thats my policy
:)
crazed ramblings of a mad man?
or a code to be cracked by literate scholars?
id rather leave my nonsense everywhere for normals to make sense of
the rules do tend to change here
You are the only rose
Of all the roses
That ever blushed with sighs
Swayed with sweet stillness
And
Were ever painted
With love

Small hands clutching tight,
strings of laughter tethered
to floating dreams—
bubbles of wonder.

Sand-filled toes in shoes,
quick feet dancing
through my greatest dreams
of who she will be.

Soft kisses from lips
formed from my own heart,
melting into a
stream to her future.

Sweet songs of her love,
belted with fervor
from within the small,
light-flowered sundress.

Mischievous smiles,
doll-filled hands spinning
games that fill the day
with her glow of joy.

Bright eyes signaling
a future, brilliant
as the twinkle
of stolen stars.

Trusting, complete love,
holding tight to life
as it drifts beyond,
on bubbles of wonder
Adjusted line breaks and reworded some phrases to enhance readability and meaning (e.g., "as the twinkle of stolen stars" instead of "the stars they've stolen").

"as it drifts beyond, on bubbles of wonder" subtly reinforces the bittersweet nature of time passing, without losing the lightness.

"Mischievous" is kept intact for readability, and "light-flowered sundress" smooths out that phrase.
I love how she sings
And makes love
Like a sweet sultry dove

Let me show you one that's mine;
She, sweet and strong Caroline.

Her hair, a mess of own
Her eyes, radiant of dawn,
Her skin, under sunlight shine
Oh sweet Caroline.

In every journey she embarks,
A new light, shines a new mark.
Her feats cross the skyline,
Oh proud Caroline.

A palace in her name,
It shall grow in fame.
Own the throne, a while,
My sweet Caroline.
She's strong, a brilliant mind, a shine.
She's my sweet Caroline
