La Tristesse May 2018
You are drifting, for you have given up on swimming.
There is nothing tied to you, although the red-string maidens are weaving.

You sang with your heart, but there was no one to hear your frequency.
And such is the fate of the loneliest whale of the sea.

And they will never understand the glory of your surrender,
For in their eyes, one is always destined for another.

The acceptance of your fate, they call it misery,
But to you, 'tis only pure, sweet liberty.

On the shores of heaven
An angel sits, with bright wings
Guiding the souls to their gate
Soothing hymns, it sings

The golden gates open wide
To welcome the souls to its realm
Hailing to our father, the saviour
All souls, look the same

Glory to the mighty king
Above and beyond all
We raise our hands and praise to thee
Please listen to our call

One, you are, that of high
For every being and soul bows to you
The creator and destroyer of this universe
We submit ourselves to you...

Inspired by an article I read today. I am not a Christian tho.

Your voice was all I heard
The way you said every word
So genuine, honest and true
Captivating, but scary too..
Because I lose myself, my control
When your voice tickles my soul.
Things around get a bit blurry
Pupils dilate, speech gets slurry!
All the anxiety, this rush that I feel
Your voice'll cast a spell and heal.

Here I stand but against the odds in a world full of the unknown.  Waking by day and sleeping at night doesn't apply anymore. For things of my past left to the memories of a time long ago and shall remain for ever more. Though I exist now in the present of shattered dreams one by one became now none. What can be said or looked forward to of a future that lays ahead, a broken heart, a world full of me, or the promise to feel no more pain when im dead. Once a light shown bright and clear at the end of my tunnel now it's hard to find my way. Should I turn around and try and salvage the reminance of my life or face the hard truth that the promise he made is shattered as well and he will never make me his wife. Just when I believed I knew my purpose , I stand corrected but once again . Now with the odds still stacked against me it's time to raise my white flag and retreat. I faught a good battle but lost the war.

Sometimes it's best to surrender and turn and walk away.
Tiana Marie May 2018
I'm ready to surrender
and let you captain the boat.
I'm tired of all the struggles
and barely staying afloat.

I've learned through all my trials
that you know what is best.
I give you all my worries
and now I'll finally rest.

Here it is; just take it.
My whole life is now yours.
I've battled for so long now
and I know you have the cure.

My every breath belongs to you
and I give you every stride.
There's only one thing that I ask:
that you will be my guide.

It was a merry-go-round.
I was gambling on the animals.
There was something more,
Going on between us.
A faint flutter of discontent
As I laughed astride a Tiger,
Ready to battle.
I’m not making any demands.
Complete surrender is all I’ll take.
Sometimes there a little moments were you think back on them and go oh, that was what that strange undercurrent was. I had one of those and needed to write it out.

Look at us
Together again..

And as you're burning me down in ashes
For the last time you speak to me
Yet there is no more of "we"

This might be just a co-incidence
But while ending my existence, you smile
And I feel happy that I am still on your mind

This evening, it's romance in its rawest form
But the people out there think we're fighting a war,
You know they can't see -now we've come so far

When you walk away from my concluding lifetime
I ask you to walk like a hero
I know you broke me, but it takes courage to do so

It was that one last drop
that flooded a brimful hollow

Welling drop by drop . . .
Lingering , . . moment by moment,
belatedly over-flowing the restraint
slowly filled by reckoned time

Gathered teardrops surrendered
from vulnerable cup of thirsting blossom
Volatile bedewed petals gently sipping
   dawn's velvet  mist

A tender heart ... spilling the traces of hurt
Beneath the stains of time
    hidden deep within
the enigmatic pools of your eyes

    The moment of love
              awoken,
         is a boundless
        awaited sunrise

It's as if a stifled river's trickle
       reinvigorates thirst,
  abating its own extinction

           The will to be,
     heeded in a last drop,
             inspiriting
       new breathe of life

          long lost adrift,
       alone in tidewater's
               contrary
          push and pull

Dreaming of Spooning water
   from a broken vessel
   into insoluble oceans

Each loving spoonful filled
with the overflowing love
    from a broken heart

To rescue from endangering indifference,
knowing only what is loved can be saved

Will you touch this aching silence and let me know ?

Gaze your eyes into this lonely sea
and let the tide pull you in

Thanks for reading ... its hard to look away from silence, but it does teach with its unspoken muse; even though lessons learned may not be what you'd hoped for.

frosty winds claim few survivors
burned feet on a porcelain beach
your poison poured into my cup
pale creamy swirl to help me sleep
walked into the web of a spider
dreamy eyes every time I see her
dress me in silk I've lost my fight
since your white
spider
bite
I like it visually as a spiders abdomen.  At it's core it is about surrender.
