Lollipop girl
Simple, little, sugar cane doll
No one could say you did wrong
But in the bonds of your heart
You know that sugar molds.

Sweetness.
Crashing together,
And finally allowing myself to break.
Melting,
Sugar and syrup in my mouth and yours,
A taste that both of us crave.

Embrace,
Security and belonging,
However it does not last in the way we want it.

Snaking,
Reaching underneath,
And an altitude change shakes us
As you tell me I will not fall.
Arms around my waist,
And now I laugh.

"Why do you laugh? What have I done?"

My reply is only
"Your mouth, as sweet as it has ever been,
is on mine, and for as long as I want it to be, it will.
You see, I am not laughing at you, but merely because I have finally received
the subject of my dreams."

He ponders;
And returning to his work I return to mine,
But this time, the sugar is burning into a magnificent taste,
Like glass candy between our tongues,
And raw cane behind our eyes.

Sugar on your lips
I like the taste
My hands on your hips
Makes home on your waist

Pull me in close
Let's ignite a flame
You are a drug i overdose
I'm a wild dog you need to tame

Honey from your tongue
I take a sip
It is with you I belong
Your being is my keep

Sugar cubes get drenched by the rain--
again.

Bedraggled but careless,
You continue to watch them
As if curios in the antique store on a trance lane.

Aggravation makes a chamber in your veins,
What shall the tea be served with?
An insect awake from its slumber watching you,
Pacing back and forth from grass to gravel
Be wary, I'd say--
Keep your wits up-close and within grasp!
You always had the finesse.

The guests won't come until noon, thus,
Go posthaste where they sell butter and Shanghai noodle,
I'll wait for you,
On the doorstep.
The cubes have melting away.
This is just completely random, I know.

Big bright eyes and candied lies
Her cupid’s bow gives way to juvenile ebb and flow
A cherubic face in a vulnerable place
This sweet boy could be her fall from grace

Upon her delicate fingertips
He placed his soft rose red lips
A sign of unrefined affection
Her body is the perfect confection

A lifetime full of innocence
Consequently makes her naivety immense
Truly, her mind and body sheltered
Her emotions are extremely weltered

Accompanied with beautiful blue-green eyes,
Sticky-sweet are his sugary lies
Tempting were his words—just like cotton candy
He craves to indulge in her nubile vanity

Dark chocolate eyes and velvety-smooth almond skin
She dares not act on carnal sin
With the creamy vanilla flesh of a boy
Whom she knows will eat her beating heart with joy

Intensely artificial was the flavor
Of foul black licorice when his heart did waver
Faintly, she saw through the deception
His sweet sugar-coated “love” was just an *******
Don't be stupid.

Sugar sugar spice
Oh baby
Its my look that drives you crazy
Not my eyes
Open legs, closed mind, tradition follows
Let me pray
Today. Am I forgiven today?
Tomorrow I may sin again
Or maybe i'll just sing
Love, walks alone feeling misunderstood
Obsession, ***, naive
High socks, short skirt, shy smiles
Always a rebel, never held a cause
You keep running
Spicing up your day
Blaming others on your mistakes
Never at ease because
Always looking fot a place to hide
Oh baby
You are not even sweet
You have no spice
Not even darkness in your soul
You are just a ghost of the unknow
Trying to be someone believing it means something
When you only look like a fool
Transforming yourself into a joke

like the bits of coffee
i hold in my hand,
you leave a mark of bitterness —
a trace of warmth.

like the sugar i sprinkle
into my stained cup,
you create a tingling sense of sweetness —
a pinch of heartfelt sensation.

in the same stained cup i stare;
into the void drink sitting cold.
bland as a lack of emotion as there can be,
the coffee sits bitter with no taste.

the cubes of sugar stay in their packet
left untouched,
left unsaid.

stirs and stirs,
the coffee stayed tasteless,
the sugar stayed useless,
and my mouth stayed dry.

in that moment i never realised how one
was longing for the other—
like a pair waiting to be meshed.

the sweet entered the bitterness,
and soon,
sparks of flavor dissolved in what was once bland.

it was unthought of that something so dull
and something so wholesome
would create the perfect combination—a bittersweet faith of an uprising.

A memory can be sweet as candy
Like a jawbreaker
It has many layers
With time
And patience
It will flake away
One
By
One
Each detail lost
Each color faded
Until you are left with the core
The heart of the story
Why you remember it
As you bite down
You remember it
It all comes flooding back
It releases the sweet memory
Across your tongue
Then you do what we all do in the face of candy
