Slumped against a wall
Around the back of a
Home,

A week without a rest
and just
A lifetime to
Go.

A golden crown rests heavily
on my head,
Achievement rests light on
My heart,

Bracing for the second when
I start
Seeing stars.

Success is sacrifice,
And sacrifice is pain.
What is a winner without
A life of cruel shame?

Happiness is temporary,
Climbing the ranks is
Life.

I look at fate,
Fate looks back at me,
And I accept the hardship
with

A smile.
overachieving is living
Dreams
The worst part...
Waking up to achieve it.

The best part
Waking up to achieve it.

If the hardest part is waking up?
I'd sacrifice my sleep.

To be with you forever
Or to achieve you.
If my dreams are valid, having you is...

Many a mistake, I've made
But that need not necessarily be bad
Because, a lot I've learned
Whenever I've failed
I feel I can handle anything
And need to fear nothing
Because, I've seen the worst
Though I'm yet to see the best!

Many a mistake, I've made
To my struggles, you'll see no end
Often, do I trip and fall
In my court, never is the ball
But I'm slowly improving
My personality is developing
Yes, I haven't tasted success
But I'm certainly a work in progress!!

Many a mistake, I've made
But I know I'll come good
Only a matter of time
Please, give not a ****
About my past failures
See my improvements
Big and small
I rise after every fall!!

Many a mistake, I've made
But the world won't end
After all, life is up and down
And I'm definitely not alone
We all make mistakes
In fact, that's the best path to success
More important than learning what to do
Is learning what not to do!!

Many a mistake, I've made
But immensely, they've helped
I am battle-hardened
And will go to bed
Knowing I've done enough
To handle the rough
Soon, will the smooth come
Again, only a matter of time
I repeat, many a mistake, I've made
But ultimately, I've learned
That's all that matters
Thank you for your patience!!
Poem on my mistakes and how I've progressed since.
For some its a crown on their head,
For some another jewel on their way ahead.
One after the other people always strive,
Once achieved there is nothing they grieve.

Achieved by a lot of sacrifices,
Friends, family and by paying a lot of prices.
In their prime, Instead of partying and enjoying,
They worked hard and made it their craving.

Brick by Brick they build an empire,
By learning from their peers in their career.
Once reached, they do not feel superior,
True ones, ensure to pull others higher.

The false ones always leave trials of sorrow,
Leaving down whose knowledge they borrowed.
Not caring for anyone, forgetting their trails,
And everything they achieved by multiple failures

It shouldn’t hit one’s head with its allure,
As people tend to forget who once cared,
Where they come from and who was with them,
It feels like it is the fault of this corporate system.

Be happy for others who achieve it,
Focus on yourself and mentally stay fit.
Work on self improvement and growth,
One fine day all will be of worth.

What does success even mean
If we all die in the end?
Symply Bright Jul 19
So much losses had me losing faith,
so much setbacks had me doubting if there's ever going to be a way,
so much potential seems driven away,
so much efforts that never yielded to gain,
so many struggles with no success attained.
But we can't give up just because we fail, right?
For what's faith without loss? What's breakthrough without setbacks?
What's potential if there isn't a trial?
What's success with no stories of struggles?
It doesn't fit, so I will iterate again.
Hopefully, God will be on my side.
What's success without a story?

What am I
if I can’t give?

What am I if I can’t be
The best of the best,
Top of the peak,
if I won’t kneel at the feet
Of the rest of the world
That’s dry and bleak,
If I can’t climb and
claw my way up?

What can I do,
Who can I be?
If I am not
The tallest be
-ing
In a crowd of giants,
Unreliability
Is a skill or something
To get on
And trample people
like they’re
Ladder rugs

To be

The
highest
one
can
be.

School is beautiful, school is great
School provides us with an outlet , taps into our talent
School is where we learn new things and make friends
Friendships which some of us will carry well into adulthood

Were it not for school, where would we learn
And how would we know what we are good at
What we are not good at, what we  like, dislike
How would we learn tolerance and understanding

Tolerance and understanding  make us better human beings
Were it not for school, would we learn to read and write
Had they not gone to school, Dickens, Tolkien, and Twain
Would never have written the classics they did

School also teaches us the importance of numbers
Successful and rich people know their numbers
Money likes those who know their numbers
That's why the majority of people remain poor

School teaches us so many different things, so many
Some things help us in life, after school, others never to use
But knowledge is power, and its good to know
That we can stride out into the world with full confidence
This poem is about the importance of school.School is a beautiful experience we will carry into adulthood and beyond
