she's made of words
of unspoken poetry
a series of novels in the making
and skin littered in love letters

each time she whispers in my ear
i hear lyrics and verses of unsung songs
a melody so sweet
sweeter than wine
and candy combined

each letter she strings together
looks like constellations across the evening
and every syllable she utters blows up in sparks
like lightning in the night sky

yes, she may be hard to read
but she's fun to analyse
how one can be so complex
so beautiful
at the same time

truly
there is no one like her
someone who can speak her own mind
she's unique, fantastical
one of a kind.
Enraptured by the glories
And wisened by each sin
I drink in every story
Written by many a pen

I find myself afloat
In seas of ink
Adrift without a boat
Into the words I sink

Immersed in their pages
As many men and women
Dance across as many stages

I find solace beneath the black waves
Bound betwixt two covers
They bring me so much joy
And always brighten my day

Who am I?

Someone you loved
Or perhaps hated

Your friend
Maybe a lover

Some stranger on the street
Someone you dreamed of

Someone with piercing eyes
Or a forgettable face

I’m not really sure right now
But I’m still writing this story of me

Society has crumbled,

The world has regressed,

Everyone is depressed,

Mentally jumbled.

We think we are above,

All of those dystopian stories,

That we don't fall in those categories,

But they fit like a glove.

Fahrenheit 451?

Who reads books anyway?

There is no keeping the media at bay,

Our screens are on all day!

Orwell's 1984?

Thanks to phones we have no privacy,

Everyone inflicts their own policy,

And agenda evermore.

The Giver?

Our joy and suffering,

Are ****** away by our constant screening,

And pleasures made to deliver.

Ready Player One?

We turn to escapism,

So we can run,

From activism, racism, and fascism.

We think we are above,

All of those dystopian stories,

That we don't fall in those categories,

But they fit like a glove.

i just wanted you to know
that I've been reading your poems
your stories
your heart
and I too
bleed for these words
like you
and I hope
you read mine too
when your heart
seek for words

A billion words,
a thousand stories,
those are all I have.
Yet I couldn't write
a single page
if you had even asked.

The stories keep me going,
keep my head among the clouds
but my feet upon the road.
I see the beginning, the middle, the end
but pen and paper couldn't meet
to write the words that once had flowed.

I am drowning in ideas
of the characters I see
but when it comes to make them real,
they are gone like in a dream.
