it passed me by
only reading about
that cosmic marvel
the morning after
not quite a "once
in a lifetime" event
yet some would say
special enough
significant even
to pause and reflect
on synchronicity
interconnectedness
everything

there was a time
where i might have
been disappointed
to miss a sight
as rare as
they claimed this
occurrence was to be;
seven of our neighbours
visible simultaneously
five with the naked eye
the other two with
the aid of a telescope

but i don't
need to witness
a celestial dance
such as this
pointing uncertainly
with uncertainty
at what might be
one of the planets
to be reminded
that our stars
have already aligned

Look at your wrist—see rivers run blue.

A story inked where stars once grew.
Their silent ashes now subdued.

Particles of stardust—softly remain,
Still running, deep in your veins.

Your veins hold secrets—maps unseen,
Where gentle giants once dreamed.

The stardust in your blood,
Leaves a trace—a supernova’s burning grace.
It leaves a memory, so soft and sweet.
A memory, now yours to keep.

Perhaps, you are the breath of stars that soar,
A spark that rises, forevermore.
one of my favorite poems, I truly hope you guys enjoy it :3
For every one of your tragedies
I will write happy endings

For every one of your bad days
I will help make good ones

For every one of your break downs
I will be there to pick you up

For every skipped meal
I will treat you to comfort

For every forgotten memory
I will make new ones with you

For every forgotten line
A daisy for the courage to try

For every tear shed
A smile shared

For every scar
A star

You are gold
And I, yellow.
Love you big dawg, thanks for everything.
She gazed at the dazzling array of stars,
filled with awe and curiosity, cradling her aspirations while serving as a witness to the miracle of life, how a mere spark can evolve into an entire universe, a vast cosmos.
Nearby, a vigilant owl perched silently. Did it contemplate this enigma as well, she mused? Surely, the essence of meaning and wonder isn't exclusive to humanity, she reflected.
Surely, every creature feels the pulse of life within it, and the pull of the unknown.
As if responding to her unspoken question, the great barn owl hooted quietly and unfurled its mighty wings, soaring high into the sky, eager to discover what other marvels awaited it in its palace of trees.
Farewell, dear soul, she whispered gently; perhaps one day soon, I too will spread my wings, and fly away from this place.

He called me a star
But how can that be true?
My light is only there when I'm next to you

My dad calls my mom the moon
It's supposed to be romantic but to me he's a fool
The moon is a piece of rock
My mom is the whole world

He hold my hands
And tells me I'm the sun
I don't believe him
But it is true love

Stars hung in velvet night,
peek down upon us,
gleaming the heaven,
with their presence.

Yet, I feel dark,
deep within my chest.
Perhaps the moon
knows what I mean.
Just felt like writing it

Immortality May 3
On the hill,
laid side by side,
wrapped in warmth,
hands intertwined.

breath met breath,
so did love,
shy moon peeked
through drifting clouds.

above them,
stars scattered in dark,
but it was their hearts
that held the night.
just had a déjà vu of my stargazing date with a past-life lover
