We all find in those moments
Where we feel a fraction of our being-
Intense despair for something we
Had yesterday or lack
In our celestial thoughts of
Greatness.

If our thoughts in these times of sadness
Were mapped out in the universe
There would be implosions
And constellations crashing against
The harmony of our galaxy:
The system we seek to control.

But to control it is to misunderstand
The mysteries and inconveniences
That give us awareness of
Habits we should leave
People we should farewell
And wounds that must seal.

Poetry cleanses
my soul of the grime and dirt
of reality

Nothing feels like home;
Home is where I  AM.
Home is my heart
to dwell in this dream
called reality.

in stillness
such bliss
movement
takes me higher
asanas and breath
combined
open up a path
straight
to the heart
of the divine
away from
the thinking mind
to the light
how sweet it is
such bliss
in stillness
this poem is dedicated to all of my yogi fellows out there: namaste. may your yoga journey take you higher.
Translated by Przemyslaw Musialowski 11/6/2019

Don't hope for any light

Don't hope for any light in the midst of a storm,
neither on earth nor in the sky.
For whoever awaits it will certainly die
and he'll be a bell, ringing at his own funeral.
And only those won't be covered by the dark coat of night
who within themselves will find the light,
to clearly illuminate their path,
by kindling their own spiritual fire.

*by kindling their own fire of the spirit all alone.

A Toast

A fool would be the one who wants at sea depth
to quench the thirst that burns him from the inside,
who, clinging to the wide wave,
rises up with her and collapses into the abyss.
A fool! ... Life, the great cellarmaster,
is only going to give him a goblet full of bitterness.
Even without us, the seas flow into the abyss -
long live the wine!...

Maria Konopnicka (1842-1910)
Friends, enjoy! I apologize for any mistakes - I'm always doing my best!

I'm on a mission of self-destruction.
Happy with my addictions;
Need no salvation.

Cursed with imagination,
Used to think as a commendation.
Then realised it has no limitations,
Absorbing radiation from Satan.
No marks of mortification.
Won't tolerate invasions,
Or be ready for penalization.

Character assassination, impatient expressions;
Celebration on each month of taken
Showing off relation, less communication
Reason for segregation.

Needed behaviour modification, my soul in rehabilitation
Now, I prefer isolation, a good long vacation;
Far away from damnation,
Searching for a destination.
A place for inner peace, for purification...
The real fight is against your own self

Many take Faith in God
Or The Spiritual World
Or other Power.
It gives them Purpose
And makes them feel good.

I smile for them
In their Positive View
And wish them luck with that.

I hope they are right
In their beliefs
For I may benefit too.

But, let’s face it,
Science shows
That when we die,
Each one of us,
Our flame is totally
Extinguished.
No-one lives forever.
Everyone dies.

We are reduced to skeletons
Or scattered ashes
(Unless kept in an urn)
Or in some other form
Of “preservation”.

These are the facts
From which
We cannot escape.

All the more important then
That as the cliché goes
We make the most
Of what remains
Of our Life.

Important that we Love all living things
And do our best
To Achieve all that we can,
Aspire and Succeed
For a better world
And for The Common Good.

Been thinking again...and talking in the pub with Norman Stevens, who may claim an "assist" here!
Sara Rumi Nov 2019
I’ve reached a stage in my life where I only want people around me who believe in God and higher powers
People whose stench reek of spirituality and enlightenment
Everything else just seems like a distraction
Temporary pleasure
An environment where I’m constantly reminded that I’m powerless by myself,
an insignificant being
That I’m at my most powerful when I’m connected to the universe’s frequency and surrender myself to Him.
I’m trying to be the love child of Rumi and Ibn Arabi
Sara Rumi Nov 2019
I take comfort in the reality that my days are numbered
And if I keep doing good deeds and avoiding evil I’ll wake up in a Paradise so beautiful where this life will simply just had been a bad dream
Ya Allah, I’m ready.
Mourning my loved ones.
