An imperfect mix of
Hopes and dreams
Served in a platter
Deliciously tempting
And so hard to resist
The taste of passion
And ultimate regret

Darling how I wish,
We never met.

What's revenge,
If not a kiss
Who's pallete ranges, from sweet
To bitter.

Mint leaves glitter down
the sweating glass
of sweetly, sour lemonade.
Each sip slides past
through the slender straw
with lemons freshly made.

A tongue needs no bones
Mine is lemon and honey
Prickly by nature

I have what you don't
A balanced filter for two
For sour and sweet

A tongue needs no bones
To cut in and wound someone
So, wield your sword well
Based on an incident that happened today. There is a time and a place to say things but some things should not be said, let alone thought.

I'm tasting sugar on my eyelids
Syrup on my irises
Sour on my heartstrings
Bitter in my arteries
But we are more than corporeal
Meant to fly
And cross the boundaries
Transcend the frames of nature’s canvas
Spill our colors farther than the physical
We invent what we do not discover
The horizons and the realms of our future
And I am just like you
A mess of senses that
perception blends into

Our words are sewn into those
                           that hear our thoughts.

So make them pleasant,
as ill words sow sour fruits

Does her honey make every meal taste sweeter?
If not, time will break you.
Every love has a little sweet,
a little sour -
bitterness can boil over.

If she doesn't try everything before you,
she won't figure out what you really like.
And if she doesn't know your tastes,
how will she ever make your mouth water?

Do her eyes drool at the sight of you? No?
Then she's probably reading the menus
at every red light.
She could be drinking from another man's glass
and drying her hands on his towel
while you are too busy looking in the mirror.
