Was it a bid adieu, or merely the beginning of an infinite rendezvous? A quiet vow, sealed in silence, to wander back into the refuge of dreams where our moments linger—beneath the timeless tree that sheltered our whispers, on those solitary benches, along endless paths where our footsteps etched fleeting eternity, as if echoing our own unfinished story. To trace the delicate decay of fallen roses, decipher the faded whispers of “miss-you” notes, and relive the quiet intimacy of entwined hands. To seek the warmth of embraces and rediscover the timeless rhythm of those coffee-laden moments, where losing ourselves in one another was the only truth we ever needed.
To share the silent symphony of every moment we spent together.

Listening to silence, love often speaks
in ways words cannot express.
Hearing what’s unsaid, it reveals itself,
the gentle art of quiet presence.

When words fail to comfort the ache,
a hug soothes the heart instead.
Found in the simple act of being,
joy lives beyond what language says.

On long days filled with longing and silence,
memories of 20 questions linger.
Indeed, love is knowing this truth:
it lives in presence, in touch, in time.
This piece explores the quiet ways love speaks when words are not enough. Through simple acts of presence and touch, the poem reflects on how true connection is often found in the unsaid moments—those that linger in silence and linger in our hearts. A tribute to the deep, unspoken understanding between people, it speaks to the healing power of being present with one another.

Silence
I invite you
To bring me the truth

Silence
I adore you
For you are what you are

Silence
You help me
Find myself again

Silence
You are an anchor
In this present moment

Silence
You are here
And you always were

Silence
Sometimes
You are louder than words

Silence
In your lullaby
I want to fall asleep softly

Silence
In your presence
I am.
Calming myself down before sleep after an exciting day, listening to silence.

When you're done with chores,
Taking the dishes to the sink,
gently rubbing each until one's
left that you mindlessly rub-
Is it true that I'm gone?

Albums of long lost memories
kept aside your closet beneath
neatly folded clothes- when touched,
you avoid them intentionally-
Is it true that I'm gone?

When pages of book flap in wind-
passing by you beside window,
your vacant gaze upon a line-
that stirred thoughts behind time,
Is it true that I'm gone?

Why is it that your coffee
left on table often gets cold?
Distracted- you sense an hour
passes by like your secret brief sigh.
Is it true that I'm gone?

Late at night, when lights go off-
birds go numb, in screaming silence,
is it that you still make a wish
for me in your dreams?
Is it true that I'm gone?
Once a man had died in war. But he left a letter for his wife. A letter of confrontations. A letter of unuttered love.

Under the moon, and under the stars
I found your eyes like glowing moons
They healed my scars.

Gazed in your eyes, felt a gentle touch
Whispered your name, and it meant so much.
Held your hand for the first time,
And in that moment I knew you were mine.

I think it's time to share my heart,
To let you in, and never depart.
Our names are written upon the stars,
Together forever, no distance too far.

I found peace in your violence
And in your chaos I found silence.

Silence
Is what you did
Silence
Is what you said
Silence
Is all I get

Begging
For words
Begging
For something
Begging
You to say anything

Time passed
You haven't called
Time passed
I haven't stopped
Crying

"I need you" was all I said
Silence is what I get
"Say something" I begged
Silence is all I get

Did I say something way too honest?
Did I make you run and hide?
Did I really say something that bad?
Or I should've kept my mouth shut?

I wish I understood the silence
I wish I knew what to do
To ******* get to talk to you

And I'm sorry
For always crying
And I'm sorry
I talked about it
But please, I don't deserve silence
