When the subject and object in love are united
there isn’t another around at all to be sighted.
And where oneness prevails love eternally flows
from the One to the many that of illusion shows.

From "The Quatrains" ongoing writings since the early '90's.

Touching your soft skin
Feel your hair on my chin
You are just beautiful like What I need
In this night
We lay under the stars
And pray this night will never end
Cause I never want to lose you
From my sight
Your back shines like angel wings engrave when you are naked
In the moonlight

i wish for my own good
but my truth is the weight of my option

i’ve only found that my true illumination
comes from darkness that covers my sight
from the pressure created inside
at the corner of my eyes,
i see you walking by;
no wonder you're crowned king,
any will die at the sight of your lips.
always be optimistic!

Shortsighted
we have eyes to see
things in front of us
present tangible reality
worldly ideas and substances
superficial fear, worries, cares
what do we eat, drink, wear?
where do we go, what do we do next
where shall we see ourselves in five to ten years
so we make our schemes and plans
and we grasp for control
In trying to be king, we end up tyrants
enslaved to our own tyranny
Influenced by darkness

Shortsighted
Lord, have mercy
give us eyes to see
beyond ourselves
ever-present eternal realities
divine providence, contentment
In abundance or lack, we have everything we need
And that we are worth more
Than any temporal worry or care
Lord, give us eyes to see
our lives not as mere earthly things
but to build ourselves heavenward upon the steadfast Rock
that we may be humble, as a speck of dust in the grovel
under the sovereign kingship of a good and Holy God
that we may not waver at the tossings and turnings of this world
Lord, give us eyes to see Your light
That we may live with faith, hope, and love - that we may live with vision.
Matthew 5:26-34

A mistress of mystery,
To help go through what will be history.
The stars and the moon shine,
For her to bring something divine.

She sees the signs and counts,
What the days and love amounts.
It has slowed, with that comes the dull,
Waiting the hope is, it is not null.

The past has proven,
What is to be woven.
So something great will come,
For her, finally more than a crumb.
More confident of a day
a sight to see,
the beauty yet to be,
thrilling chaseβ€”surpass,
wonders, waiting to blast!

β€œI see,” he says.
But he is blind.

He understands though,
He nods and I know he understands.

Grey hair, loose strips -
Of it. Around a head,
That β€˜sees,’ even
When his eyes do not.

We are afraid of seeing.
We see with our eyes but not
With our mind.

There are colors and shapes,
Movements and changes.
But do we see them?

Perhaps,
It is we who are blind.

Start with the breath,
Shaky lately, it changed with the stains a painting formed on my chest came leaking, sneaking black bubbling death
It foamed up towards the roof of my vest,
Cough is hoarse excuse me my poorly conveying the truth I confess that maybe I've trained my brain to ignore the distress culminating the gruesome express

Eyesight now, and my Eye's feel numb
Two flocks fly in the light of the sun, side by side in a sign like a gun that stops my stride in time with the young, I wonder why and who had time to train these geese to write ******* W's alright, soon it fades from mind a two days wait until it's time to light up the night blunt try somma my cut the line trust is high up sigh at thoughts thought in my mind fuzz fought climb up bought thine scuffle what ******* geese fly in V's I'm blind cuz.

Minds in circles my muscles in decay my brain can't keep track of the ******* days
I'd buy the parcel from hovels of dismay trade for ants to keep mortality at bay
I'm afraid I wished for death too often, it waits till I'm content to grant it's bubbles while I'm coughin.

I've been sitting on the top of the ladder
looking at the world from the high I can reach
every once in a while someone glances my way
I look back straight in the eye till they look away.

There is peace which I can attain here
no one looks down on me even if they want to
But there is nothing straight up to my height
Everything is placed below my sight.
