My vision isn’t perfect,
But I at least saw you.
The lefty vaguely sees,
My righty is flawed too.

One sees near, one far.
Yet they saw you, dear.
I look for rhymes, deep.
I listen for words, hear.

Its all an allegory, honey.
Or whatever that means.
I thank the past, my love.
Now the future is here?

Its all unrequited though!
And I have no intentions!
I love and love and love-
But they’re just my heart?

We see with eyes, sweetie.
We do feel what we touch.
Our senses have brought,
Things that are… naught.

This poem goes everywhere!
Talks about this and that…
But that is what you get,
When you have blurry eyes.
A random assortments of words. It’s the new year; a new decade it seems? So it’s a play on clear vision, twenty-twenty. Sadly I have blurry eyes but fortunately not extremely blurry. As a matter of fact, it is still pretty decent. I dedicate this poem to my unrequited love - a love I still hold.

Is the star too far for you to behold
Is it out of range in the vacuum untold
Will it ever be something within your sight
Or kept in your mind choosing not to take flight
If it is too far and untouchable today
Keep that star in view and there will be a way

It's never too far...!

You are everything I've ever wanted
And
Everything I've ever needed
In human form
My heart runs fast at the sound of the syllables in your name

from the way
you're staring at me,
i think I've made you
believe in
love at first sight
feels like it is going to be a series at this point.

Someone once told me that the greatest evil in life was to not be able to see all the beauty that it has to offer--
To be eyeless.

But looking around, how could it be so evil ... so wrong to not be able to see?
Glance in any direction, and all that is, is a hellscape.

Violence glorified, the devil incarnate.
Vicariously living through the blood of others--the hate.

Not to mention the soapboxes made of tissue, and the horses so high they could scrape the very sky.

And I'd be remiss to fail to mention all the masks.
A mask for work, a mask for when we're out.
A mask for family?
You need not even ask.
We even have our very own mask to wear when we stare at ourselves in the mirror.

So, I believe this person is wrong.
The greatest evil is not to be eyeless but to have eyes and not see--
Not see the pointlessness of it all.
a little more experimental than my typical poetical diarrhea

And in asking of self, most honestly, said
“Are you afraid, once you’ve spoken the words, that you’ll truly be free?
That you’ll fall off the earth without purpose or being
Just because you’ve finally shared, what for so long you yourself could not see?“
I am afraid of this?
Perhaps, maybe
You ever feel like you were meant to do something? Edging closer and closer towards creation. And then, the closer you get it the more negative your inner self becomes? I swear, half, or at least two thirds, of my own problems are just me talking to myself.
