But oh dear,
sometimes
the honey tastes sour too.
Doesn't it

I pray for the day you crave my touch more than anything

And I will watch you wither in sorrow

As I have.

The one thing I can promise is true...
no matter the distance,
I love you.

The sweetest sounds I’ve ever heard,
no one would hear a peep

The sweetest sleep,
no one hears the breath

Ones heart thaws

When one can’t have the sweetest touch
alone

I’m finding peace
In your silence

I’m finding peace
In your rage

I’m finding peace
In your absence

I’m finding peace
In being silent

I’m finding peace
In my anger

I’m finding peace
In my solitude
I’m getting used to being alone again
A storm of wind and rain
Blows through my veins

This gale carries me
Where it will
And ever I feel drawn
To the mother
Of all things

I have set my sails
With only a tempest
To guide me
Heeding only
The call of the wilds

I once thought, death do us part
but it did not, my love
you are immortal, deep within me
     watching me through the eyes
of the sculptures we cast together.

I will never forget the morning
you lay still and cold beside me
      arms that once hugged, hanging
lifelessly by your side, eyes shut,
      lips closed to beautiful words
      you conjured effortlessly
lips and eyes of endless love
      for the world around you
you were love and love you shall remain.

And yet
the carbon
that could've been
stars
instead made
you

birds birds birds—
birds left untitled,
untitled flight and traveler
moribund and morbid
fleetingly silent,
through the skies unwanted.
trying to break out
from monotonie.
