Blister bites
Beneath the skin
Of conflict wars
In ignorance

The border die
Was fixed at six
Symmetrical
To wilful sin

Change and change
Won’t come
Without collapse

Your lips
Your breath
Come without cracks and gasps
Your eyes
Your tears
Come without dust and fear

There’s something
Amiss
With the land we’re living in
Can’t quite
Place my
Ignorance on it

I once saw a man
Blended into the night
With a tarnished can and a sign
But everyone walked on by

I once saw a child
Work to death in the sun
With a knife and a gun
Against his back

First world?
Third world?
We live in the same world . . .
12:23pm, August 27th 2013

The comforts of first world nations thrive upon third world suffering, but people don't want to know :( they're wilfully ignorant because they'd rather keep doing all those things that make themselves feel good, instead of facing the consequences of their actions.

I still can't believe how selfish people are. It doesn't make me angry at people, but at the source of where this selfish image arose. We were raised back when TVs were still a prevalent part of our lives, and most of our shows were American (as New Zealand follows America more than Britain I feel). No matter the show; reality, drama, sitcoms; they all had this underlying current that you will feel amazing when you're rich. Practically propaganda for the capitalist system. Getting big, getting recognised, getting rich. As opposed to finding happiness . . .

I'm not surprised most people desire money now, or fame. They just recognise it as life, as if our social construct defines us. That's probably why so many people try to stay 'normal' as they grow up, and frown upon anything out of place.

I really do hope things change in the next few decades. With the advancement of the internet, kids these days are brilliantly perceptive. Hell, I taught twelve year olds who knew how terrible McDonald's was, etc. I even had a 30 minute discussion about our social system with one of them. I think he knew more than me :S

All edge and divides
Frightening truths, severed lies
You don’t walk through a crowd
For fear of taking their lives

Serpent tongue, serpent teeth
Rattles between lips, sealed
Spoke of many, far too many
Nonconformities

Cyclic reveries
The start and end don’t
Repeat
Just an infinite line
Parallel in
Retreat

Cyclic history
Stalled and stuttered to
Death
Just to rise once again
All mistakes and
Regrets

People are selectively ignorant of all the injustice in the world.
They'd rather believe untruths and pretend they're good people.

Keep your head, keep your heart, keep your soul, all apart
Keep your misinformed selves wasting in the dark
Irrelevancies, to your own selfish lives
On the side line, watching a million die

You’ll think to yourself, what a good person you are
To never have wronged, like those ******* out far
But you’re a neutral, not a good--just a passerbyer
(Not heavenbound) a limbo-lingering bystander

Fear; It is that which holds us back
Fear; It makes us susceptible to the enemy's attack
Fear; It is the weapon of the weak
Fear; It is enforced by the havoc and destruction they wreak
There is but one weapon that sets us free
The only thing that brings fear to a knee
Love; When it's perfect, it dispels all fear
Love; Unconditional, like the fawn has for mother deer
Love; We spend our entire lives searching for it
Love; It's always there, but in the giver's eye doth we usually spit
If the love does not come from the source we seek
We frown and cry, it shows that our hearts seem weak
"To obtain, something of equal value must be lost."
One must give in order to receive.
Give love to receive love.
Make it pure and unconditional, for conditional love is tactless and selfish.
Love yourself, for you are indeed worthy.
If you cannot see this truth, how can you expect to see the love that others do give you?
Focus on the source of all love, He who loves you more than you could ever understand.
He who loves so much that He sent His son to die so that you might live.
Do not spur the ultimate love, do not spit in His eye, meet His embrace head-on.
Once you embrace His love, you will begin to see it everywhere.
Your search for love will be over.
God is the truth of love.

Feeling the earth moving,
movements of the clock ticking.
Each second a century,
Losing her presence daily.

Seeing voices in the air,
Touching smells everywhere.
Slow and steady she must go,
High and fly like the black crow.

Losing against gravity,
No more Ms. high and mighty.
Jumping up against the walls,
There she falls and falls and falls.

"Is this dying?", she whispers.
Her words floating in the skies.
"What is living?", she wondered.
Her once persistent voice faltered.

Our bodies are borrowed
yes, it is not hard to comprehend
it's not a poetic metaphor
nor is it a intellectual endeavor

our bodies are borrowed...

it might seem strange at first
but then it starts to make sense
but its crazy

our bodies are borrowed...?

Hello, for your whole life you was borrowing something
your soul borrowed the body made from your mother
a mom whole also borrowed her body who sexually interacted with another person with a borrowed body
whose parents created them with borrowed bodies
all the way to the beginning

our bodies are borrowed....!!!????

that means our life is borrowed
our kids are borrowed
our happiness are borrowed
our darkness are borrowed
our ****** activities are borrowed
even our souls are borrowed

our bodies are borrowed??????

Now will you continue this borrowed reality or use your borrowed body to create a world?
a world that doesn't require a borrowed body?
a body of your own?
This poem is kinda shaky. Please comment and don't just ready. Don't be scared.
