your fingers planted seeds everywhere you touched me
you watered them by whispering into my ears
and flowers sprouted from my spine each time you kissed me

Now is not a time for growth. Now is the time for regeneration. For preparation of that growth. For now, let us sleep as the earth sleeps. Conduct that inner work, build your inner world, sew the seeds so that you can watch your world bloom in the spring

I am a rose

blown wide open

petals dripping, seeds dripping

in a garden

full of buds

just waiting to exhale their scent

This cycle

flowers go through

dying

for the next beauty

Spring sings as do the birds, high in the tall trees;
Spring knits fluffy white clouds, laying them in the blue sky gingerly;
Spring plants the seeds of the delicate flowers,
And when she’s sad, Spring’s tears water her trees.

Spring’s dazzling smile brings the radiant sun after showers,
Makes skies burst with vibrant colours;
Wanting to feel the crisp air of the morning,
Watch the dew on the flowers.

Spring places golden daffodil flower crowns in her hazel hair;
Spring’s voice is sweet honey, dripping from the hive;
Dancing in light meadows, frolicking in the forest, swimming in the river;
Spring spins the smooth silk of the clear lake water,
Rippling as the frogs leap from lilypad to lilypad.

Dining on the sweet apples and berries of her green trees,
The fresh oranges and strawberries;
Friends with the robins and butterflies,
Squirrels and deer, blue jays and swans.

Leaves every year,
Only to be back again for three months;
Taking the torch from Winter;
Making way for Summer, and Autumn;
Watching as they make their way,
And thrive, in their own moment;
An endless cycle, bound to Time.
i wrote this, like... last year. i revisited it, made it sound as pretty as i had first envisioned it but hadn't the power to convey. enjoy the spring.
Before I act, I’ll think to ask
Where each simple action leads
By looking ahead (a useful task)
I’ll plant some amazing seeds

Results do not come unaware
Blown in by whim or chance
They come by taking loving care
And by thinking in advance

So look ahead I gladly will
My just rewards I’ll reap
I’ll practice at this helpful skill
Form a habit that I’ll keep

Many mistakes I can prevent
By thinking where this leads
“Looking Ahead” is heaven sent
To help me choose my deeds

I am
A dark sploch
dancing in the
orange glow
wavering, undecided

It is dark
So dark and deep
and I wonder
Why is there only one?
One circle that
fades from a tangerine
to a shade so black
It's the inside of blueberries

I wonder,
Where did the
glowing seeds
disappear to?
Why have they
not replenished our stock,
our sky?
They have been blotted out
By the pumpkin light

I stand in the shine
And I fall in the shine
Just as the bulb
Flickers
and
Dies
and the seeds
appear once more
Waiting for stars

Flowers buried deep
Rooted in her skin
Growing in her sunlight
Drowning in her rain
A scattering
Of dandelion seeds
Left to thrive
In a local park
Popping up and out
Turned away from the ground
Face to the sun
Everyone wonders
Where we come from
