Twisting the knobs
On comes the water
Crashing, drumming down
On the tub floor

After a moment
You step in
Absorbing the warmth
Embraced by the pattering droplets
Soothed by the simplest of things
Eased into a sense of safety
Naked, yet somehow,
Never more clothed and protected

Inaudibly, rivers run
Down your cheeks
To your chin
To the floor
Crouching, close to the ground
From whence your ancestors came
Longing to claim you

Too afraid to stop
To turn it off
To emerge into the open air
Yet
Flesh turning pink
Like that of a kittens nose
Signals you it is time
To cool down

Slowly, carefully
Standing
One last moment in embrace
Caressed by the water
Then
Going through the motions...

This secret is hidden
Under piles of ***** laundry
Only you and I
Know where it is kept
secrets that I only shared with him
tragedies Oct 2020
there is something magical,
witnessing the universe at night.
the stars tell you secrets
hidden in plain sight.

that here, in the sky,
lies the answers we seek:
there are far greater things in this universe
than what we claim to be.
wade into the sea of stars and see:
we are all stardust and galaxies.

Honestly
When you talk
I perceive different

I listen to the tone of your voice
And observe how the lips move
And when and why did you paused
And watch the expression of the face
And see the furrow of the skin waves
And inspect when the pupil dilates
And light the glow in the eyes
And track how often the head tilts
And admire the reason of your smile
And search the roots if it's the pain

And lastly I witness
How lively you feel
When I am next to you
I see it all
Listen and nod

Just listen
As a raw truth
For now
Prescribing you
Is the inside job

Get well soon

I will carve out a cave and leave them there,
Only with you, will I share.

What pieces I have left of my heart, you bear.
Do what you will, take care.

Monsters
They’re scary
Some are in the closet
Some are under the bed
But you want to know a secret?
The scariest monsters
Are in our heads
I am my own monster
