Vivid in the green
Shades of purple, pink and blue
Sparkling hydrangeas
Queens of the rainy season
So mystical and special

Let us all rise for the birthing of Earth's new life
Stirrings from her womb bring forth daffodils,
To have intimate relations with buzzing bees
Stirring wooly heads from their winter cluster,
As the yellow heads Mexican wave with
A warm blustery scented breeze, birds sing with
Renewed gusto, dancing across the garden fence
Making nests, making plans 'cause they just can't
Help but feel born again, so lets have an ovation
Spring is sprung, give me more, encore, encore.

Oh look!
Winter eyes with a spring gaze
a candy smile that beguiles
Grant me an autumn hug with summer touch
And lock me up in a love hutch
A poem from my upcoming book: The Beast of Us!

Winds have brought the glad tidings of the first drop of rain;
For the showers of blessings we await..
For the rusky scent of the earth
For the rainbow in the sky
For the heavy downpour
& the water puddles
For the hot fritters with tea &
The season of love for you and me.

Gold and brown and red,
I long for the colors of fall;
for the nip of the wind
at my nose,
and the crispness I feel
when I take a breath in.

I have a hankering
to stare out across
those golden fields,
as the grass
takes a long-awaited
vacation.

I long to gaze into
the night-time sky,
searching for the hunter
as he raises that silver bow,
scouting out his prey:
Ursa Major.

I desire crackling campfires,
sweet treats, and nights spent
keeping good company.
I want to be illuminated
in that effervescent light,
hot to the touch, but soft to my skin.

I long for Autumn to return again.

Autumn is my favorite time of year. Who else enjoys it as much as I do?
A B Faniki May 2019
As I lie awake listening to the rain and wind
Playing music on my roof, the melody is as
Enchanting as a siren song.

I imagine the sky is blue. The trees are dancing
And waving their leaves while the rain-maker
cheers them on with lightning and thunder.

In the rainy season, my roof and the road to my
House will have a shower: they will look as clean
As the cloud that wanders aimlessly on a sunny day.

I can smell the season in the air as the rains pours
Down; what a delightful smell. It fills my heart with
Joy like the sea is filled with water.

I too must join the trees in their rain dance, for
This season is the season of life and wildflowers.
This poem is about the raining season which bring earth alive whenever it start.

When he seems ,summer highlight
bubble under the sunlight
the rainbow glow

His enchanting eyes
My heart sunk already
His cold iced gaze
in summer haze

When his love must be bright summer
And
I’m forever winter
Foolish me
Moonstruck with midsummer dream

A ray of line,
through my window sunshine.
Chirp of birds
And chorus windchime.

Playfull green
with rhythm of dance
Waving in dream
Near flowing stream.

Far in the middle,
children fiddle
And fall with nothing to care,
on grass that hss become so fair.

Look through the window,
a painting redrawn
with more colors added
with new given life.

Two birds in lovely willow lay
In shining spring
with sun do play
Never parted

Two birds in lovely willow lay
In shimmering summer
Though sun does weigh
Never parted

Two birds in lovely willow lay
In amber autumn
A colored display
Never parted

Two birds in lovely willow lay
In whispering winter
A field of white and grey
Never parted
