In my psychology class we looked at some recent studies on how the pandemic has changed people. Apparently there’s a new breed of post-pandemic man. This new strain is more grown up, well-rounded and getting more sleep. They’ve experienced intellectual growth in lock-down, they’ve taken up hobbies and gained in self confidence. It seems they’re looking less for *** and more for long-term stability and partnership in relationships.

I’m hoping they’ll be easy to identify - maybe they’ll wear those old punk DEVO hats or Billy Porter dresses to set themselves apart. I really want to see one of these new overlords. I hope they’re not skittish.
oh, the cold eye of science

The hadron collider showed an unknown influence affecting subatomic particles.

“Is this proof of a higher power in the universe?” asked Marianne Williamson.

“Is this Will, is this magick?”

Yes Herr Nietzche, there will always be unknowns in human science as the scientists should have known all along, instead of substituting the most recent names of observations as the replacement of God.

No, there probably isn’t free will but we seem to be life in the unknown with more power than any other around.

This universe may just repeat on and on but what do you do with that knowledge? Can you even help to choose what you choose?

All these past influences and instinctual impulses lead the charge. But there's that spark. That mystery if we can ever really know and comprehend it all with limited senses, time, and minds.

Maybe you don’t have a choice in your life, but you can have the feeling you do. The feeling you can shape your world amid the destiny you feel in your heart.

Practice being a yeasayer to life because that just might be your fate.
Amor fati each time around.

The Skipper -

welcome aboard The Lady Mother Earth

if this ship sinks, it will probably take a while

DO NOT PANIC
MUTINY WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!

some may still have to walk the plank
after sinking

lifejackets are available on the starboard and port sides

when looking toward the bow
the left-hand side is the port side
the right-hand side is the starboard side

sometimes you may have to switch sides to keep her from rolling
we do not want this lady to roll!

first, it will tilt to one end or the other

the bow is the front end of the ship
the stern is the rear end of the ship

the stern will probably go down first

you all will probably run to the bow, in that case
sometimes this can cause a teeter totter effect
sometimes that effect may keep us afloat for a while
sometimes not

although this ship was built
by the finest ship builders ever
the stern has less mass, but more density

we will have no time for physics lessons, if it starts sinking
deckhands, cooks, and even gilligan, must work together

WOMEN AND CHILDREN FIRST

I will surely go down with the ship, if she goes down...

for now, let's just try to sail on, and not think about it
let's think of charting the best course
Don't look too deeply, i'm not on the left or right...i am in the middle...keel and hull...and i'm no sailor

When it comes down to it
At the elemental level
Of this reality
There’s me and there’s you
The anti-me
Perfectly symmetrical, but anti-
Me
Linked so closely
Yet
Ill-fated to be
Upon collision
Destined for annihilation
Leaving only traces
Of the energy that bound us
From opposite sides of the charge
Of the mystery

Yet this, here, you and I, we
Matter
Separated by the fundamental differences
In our nature
Still, both, tethered
To the laws of physicality
The laws of motion that are woven
Into the fabric
Of this galaxy
This universe
That sees us
That sees you
Unversed in the ways of being part of someone’s world
A rare but precious sight
And me,
Beyond any particular probability
Afraid of what could be
Of the decimation that would ensue
Upon our union,
Opting out of the us, the me and you,
Instead to be
The anti
You

We don't always get what we want

but we will always get what we don't want

by accepting that there's things we don't want, and leaving it alone, in case someone else wants it
we will always get what we want

We will also give by letting be

and everyone will always get what they want

don't let this get twisted by your ill logic and descending vine
worse than a thief, is someone who steals stuff they can't see

I wish I had a big ol' chunk of Covid. So creamy and buttery. I know that only my mind can unlock the gate to let covid through, and lock my cells in a cell. Have you ever been vaccinated? Have you ever been vaccinated while eating a big ol' chunk of covid? HEAVEN

It truly is heaven knowing that the vaccination can't hurt me. It's 2nd heaven to know that Covid can't hurt me either. How in the HELL do i get to 7th heaven?

I swear i would eat a chunk. I bet the AMA would charge an arm and a leg for that goodness! Or will they say there's a shortage? **** AMA
i still accept you...please don't accept me

Your way works sometimes
My way works sometimes
Their way works sometimes
Without all ways, there would be no way, always
Hey grey, you took the blue away
Is it really going to rain all day?
If the sky were only grey, it would rain all days
Tomorrow is the big day, don't take it away
To get to the big day, I lived through small days

Get it Egbert?

Relativity

It's something that we were born with, but for some odd reason, a mad scientist got credit for it. Happy scientists, like Benjamin Franklin just used it for science.

All is Relative was said at a family reunion by a grandpa in West Virginia. Then he called the missing family members inbreds. Sinister

IF is for questions
don't waste a beautiful mind with that
WHEN is huge and IF is small
it's like a mouse chasing a cat

IF wants to hang out
WHEN time comes, WHEN likes to be alone
IF is just a question
in WHEN's temporary friend zone
I have a lot of stuff to post already, but it's just a knee slapper day, so i keep writing this until my knee hurts i guess

the man i was in, was just some kind of weird protein
with no chemical make-up i'm only energy so pure
i'm never neutral, never feed those ghosts
perfect protons and electrons this i'm sure

the man i was in, he had the leaving gate shut tight
he locked me inside himself and there i was bound
he had me locked up, kept in a tiny place
that bad energy told me not to make a sound

the man i was in, i hope he gets to feel the fire
for never seeing all the errors in his ways
the only way to learn, feel the heat or the burn
let that heathen burn for forever's days

it was him that sent the signal to the adrenaline
then the adrenaline opened the gates
monsters and angels come out of those gates
that man laying there dead chose the monsters

the man i was in, chose monsters by fighting them
angels flew by and said thanks for inviting them

the man i was in, killed himself
let him burn

Charged neurons firing,
Bombshell ideas explode,
Rifting old beliefs.
Digesting poetry has waged electrical warfare in my mind. Neural plasticity is a gift from God.
