Playful words in the mind
it creates illusion and image
of such scene
elevated into flamboyant sight
of magic and dreams
gather all the feelings
and emotions
through.

At this misty morning scene,
Traces of winter were seen:
The trees were embraced by mist,
A lovely sight I had missed,
Adorned with dew were the leaves,
Seeing how the morning leaves.
These types of rhymes are very loved in Turkish poetry but I haven't seen much of them in English poetry. I usually hear them in rap songs though.

what is this scene in my head

the lines are lost to those it fed

~k.hem
Reaching wooden fingertips
Caress a rising sun,
While clouds of warm words
Are quietly woven
Into white lace whispers,
Decorating the pale morning
With passionate thoughts
And bated breaths

We were standing still, you armored in my arms.
The stage in front of us was brightly lit
but the faces around us I could not see;
we danced while the world revolving around us changed.
I whispered song lyrics in your ear and
your body language prompted me to hold you closer.
So, I did.
For a moment I was sure you were in bed with me
because the air around me smelled of you.
Lost in your fragrance,
I didn’t notice the scene around us change.
Even in a new setting the only person
my eyes could adjust to was you.
Beautiful Woman.
You turned to face me and lay your head gently on my chest.
All while I wore a coy smile.
I felt your hand on the back of my neck
as you raised to the tip of your toes to kiss me.
Just before our lips met, I woke up.
You make me nervous, even when I dream.

Orange flowers
Small and sweet
Colours like the sunset
Everywhere the eye can see
They look like a ****
But they are so beautiful to me

Small little flowers
Some pink, some white
Like a fresh blanket of snow
But sharp like ice

Then last but not least
We have the minors thorns
Tying everything together
Showing there is pain within the beauty
No matter what we can still grow
Through the rain and through the snow
And blossom into a wonderful flower

Break of Dawn
Clutch my hand
Wine stained lips
Crash against me
As if the world were about to end
Waves erupt
Setting the scene
So obscene

I had a dream
There was a house

It was pleasant
It wasn't unwanted

I slept too long
But the scene was short

There was a conversation i think
The dinner din of a hip open-air restaurant mixes with the judging whispers of the serving staff,
The smell of arid red wine filtering through the winter window pain air,

One tanned-over brick accents the grey spackled background walls,
The gold plated ceiling tantalizing our peripherals,

The light beech wood floors subvert our attention from the painted dark oak chairs

Portions of food designed to satisfy, not over stuff, guests
Glide out with mysterious but pleasing quickness.

Not too full but an obviously profitable night with diners and servers leaving, with full stomachs or pockets
But not both,

Each believing they got the better deal
