Thoughts in a Garden
               *
Crimson glow of the morning sun
 Along the rosy horizon
Set ablaze the floating clouds
With edges embroidered
In flaming gold,
Ushered in a brilliant dawn.
Sunbeams on the mountain slopes
Uncovered valleys verdant and
Gurgling streams:
Darting rays through gnarled
                                         trees
Adorned with foliage of emarald
                                         green,
Illumined the serene garden
                                        scene.
Genial warmth of the morning
                                            sun
Opened rows and rows of white
                                        jasmine
And filled the air with fragrance
                                           sweet
While mother nature sprinkled
Smiles in a shower of roses
Of delicate hues.
Hummingbirds and honey-bees
Hovered over colourful flowers
Big and small.
Shy flowers,like blushing brides,
 Allured passersby to pause
A while and admire their beauty
And bewitching smile.
Basking in sunshine under
The azure sky and stretching
On grass in chequered shades,
My questioning mind
Probed in vain,
The enigma of nature's creation,
Its amazing harmony
And violent ire
And the aim of evolving human
                                               life:
Eager to grasp what the future
                                             holds,
Indulged in reveries undisturbed, oblivious of
Fortune's ebb and tide
Until twilight showed
The early stars
And the evening shadows
                   looming large,
Restrained my restless mind.
In darkness dissolved
                      the lovely scene.
Soon, the vision of rapture
Was a waking dream:
A foretaste of life merging
With the cosmic stream!

When I awoke I was sailing among the stars..
No water below no gravity at all..
The ship was made of wood and her sails made of strange golden light..
For the moment I forgot about the Earth..
For the moment I forgot about home..
I was all alone on this ship sailing toward the center of our galaxy..
There was a guitar inside the captains champers..
I took it outside and played to all the passing stars..
I played and I played for light years that seem like seconds..
The stars shined brighter and brighter the longer I played.
That is until reached the center of the galaxy..
It was there I met with all the other ships.
All sailing from home..
To come home..
There were 3 of them..
Each one of them had a different instrument..
We stood there at the center of the galaxy and begin to play for eternity.
We spun the star circle..
Spin the star circle

shame sentimentally suffices some sacrament: strange secondary seekers safely scout such suffrage so suddenly, shake spurious susceptibility southward so strangers seem superficial; supposing such simple servants survive such sycophantic schools sans shouting, scraping, sifting, straightforward striking; some surmise something sustains, something stinks. see? sure. self-sustainable, sick, staggeringly stupid ****.

subtle ****, slip sliding southward, stopping such sudden shudderance.

safe, she says?

soon such seas seem superfluous so... success: scream success! shake secondary security, say secrets, sratch surfaces, scrape sentimental sand so shapes shift sooner; similarly scrub seemingly subtle scars, seven seconds, second severance, something so subliminally separate simplifies shifting solace, sacrificing so solemly saturday's superficial stars.

such sweet serendipity.
always wanted to write something with more s.

I find peace while I stare in your eyes til the break
Of dawn knowing you'll keep me safe in your wings,
I'm bound,

Putting my feet in some boots for the first time just
Thinking wisely about the decisions of being your King,
I'm proud,

Don't look into the eyes of a Phoenix cause you might get
Sunburned,
There's is absolutely no other way to give it up when the
World turns,
They'll keep your ashes in a flower *** of gold and dust of
The enemies that over cloud the flowing of cherishing all
The precious moments you spend with the person you love,
Is there such thing?
Or am I just a lost dove,
Swimming in the lake of forgetfulness,
I am young but I'm ready for this,
Who's cares if I'm too blunt or too intent,
No matter what you do I will be here just to say we did it.

inis oirr oh inis oirr
I know the reason why I am here.
your double rainbow in the sky
makes my heart both laugh and cry
to feel your beauty, love, and depth
that lifts my heart when I'm bereft.
when man has touched my peace and calm
you sooth me with your healing balm
of crag and rock and goat and stone
I look around, I'm not alone.
these timeless rocks of grey and lime
bring comfort from another time,
when man was humble ,young and wise,
when life was raw, there were no lies.
inis oirr is an island.

SHAKESPEARE'S MIND AND ART

In the memorable words of Ben Jonson,
Shakespeare, the great Bard of Avon,
"Is not of an age,
But for all time."
Endowed with a brilliant mind,
Worldwide knowledge and intuition,
He comprehends the changing trends
And creates enthralling situations.
With his amazing knowledge of man's nature,
Creates admirable, everlasting characters
Like Hamlet, Macbeth, Caesar and King Lear,
Rosalind, Miranda, Shylock and Portia.
Skilful blend of wit, irony and humour,
Youthful merriment, song and dance
As well as poignant scenes of sorrow and remorse.
Dialogues lively, powerful and spontaneous
Enrich all his comic and tragic scenes.
In his inimitable way, he describes -
How "..the poet's eye in a fine frenzy rolling
Doth glance from heaven to earth, from earth to heaven
And as imagination bodiesforth
The forms of things unknown,
The poet's pen turns to shape
And gives to airy nothing,
A local habitation and a name."
The world cherishes his poems and plays -
A perennial source of delight and solace.

Shakespeare passed away on 23 April 1616. This year marks the
400th anniversary of his death. This is a small tribute to the world's
greatest literary genius. M.G.N.Murthy
On the glowing American horizon,
Dawns a new era of hope and communion.
Obama, the leader America was waiting for,
Emerges from the masses, a rising star.
Breaking the barriers of religion and race,
Obama smiles, with confidence and grace,
"Change has come to America" he declares!
Recalls Lincoln, Kennedy and Dr.King,
As millions of Americans dance and sing.
Elegant orator, par excellence,
Promises equality, justice and strong defence,
And measures to crush agents of violence,
Defeat terrorists and their evil designs;
Shares India's desire to isolate centres of crime.
Facing  challenging tasks at this crucial time -
Violent conflicts, failing Banks and economic trends,
He seeks the goodwill and support of all nations,
Treating them as partners and trusted friends.
'OBAMA' now personifies "YES, WE CAN" -
Our youthful world's best slogan!
Now is the time for all statesmen to join hands
And say "YES, WE WILL" and hail the brave new icon!

I can't tell otherwise if its the waves in her hair that speak to me directly.  Nevertheless I am simply bewitched by it. And then her smile.  Her melting smile brings a moment of frozen enchantment to my eyes.   A smile with just the right curvature mixed in her face with her deep brown fiery eyes that lock into mine for a second of her happiness.  Its all I need in this world.  I will take it no further..
And so I keep this wonderful memory.

You always said
"10 years down the road
we'll laugh about this!"
but it's almost been 3 years
and I can barely talk about it
above a whisper
Maybe someday.
