Here’s a short little poem
To give a start to your day
I hope it’s a good omen
To wake up to a stray
Who’s words will bound
Right up off the screen
For you, to astound
My angel, my queen
Good morning darling
...she doesn't like to be called queen haha!

when i was a little girl, i'd always dream of a happily ever after. i'd imagine myself as cinderella, with a perfect gown and shoes and hair, in a castle with a prince who loved me so dear.

it was cute, hoping that my fantasies would someday come true. but once upon a time, i grew up. i realized that there were no happily ever afters, and that life was just a constant battle with everyone around you. i thought about my gown, and how there'll always be a pull in the fabric somewhere; my shoes, how they'll eventually make my feet ache to an unbearable point; my hair, how its curls will fall when i dance; my castle, how its size will make me feel so lonely; and my prince, how he will inevitably leave me or hurt me or play me, or all of the above.

but you helped me see the light, my prince. you made me forget all the negativities of royalty. when i am with you, i am happy. and happiness is all i want, all i need. does that mean that all i need is you?

you made me forget that you were of royal blood, and i was not; that you never had to lift a finger, and i had to work night and day to simply survive; that you were loved and needed and sought after, and i was neglected and insignificant and never anyone's number one.

but what i thought to be amnesia for the better, wasn't, and like everything else, gave me a false sense of hope that life was beautiful. i pity noble and peasant girls when they think royalty is complete and utter bliss, for they are greatly misinformed. it is all a show, which, no matter how sadistic, deserves a standing ovation.

and sometimes i wish i were little me again, free of sadness and pain; clueless of the horrors of this world. but reality checks in and reminds me that there's no such thing as a rewind or a replay, and time will not stop or slow down or repeat itself. not for me at least.

I have to be honest.
There was a time when I wondered what would become of you
Call it a sign but it’s harder to see your point of view
Wanted to know how somebody could be so cold
A woman who pays no mind sayin’ friendship is gettin’ old

Elder abuse to social interactions
And even without excuses it’s harder to see the usage
Of minutes I spent on textin’ her, mind you the reason
I’m doin’ it cause I want to while thinkin’ that I was testin’ her

But ultimately I started to know her character
Havin’ respect without knowin’ what to expect
Independence rooted in spirit, harder to scrape the fibre
Hopin’ not to admit that she’s beautiful, run it by her

The conversations we’re havin’, I’m lookin’ forward to them
I’m always checkin’ on her, I wonder why
But I’m guessin’ she thinks I’m smitten too, she might be onto somethin’
Amazin’ features, I’m thinkin’ up quite a song from nothin’

Beautiful name and I always stop to admire it
Guard her attention from lesser men who desire it
I need to know my place, happy to read what she types
Nobody’s type, yet expression of envy on my face

Force to be reckoned with, aimin' for that perfection
And I’m takin’ a second displayin’ my full affection
By writin’ this little lyrical letter, I’m feelin’ better now
I've made her curious, startin’ to feel the pressure now

A livin’ Princess in love with god’s creatures
And compared to many she suffers from odd features
But not to me cause I’m lookin’ past all the layers
Messagin’ late at night and we’re callin’ each other later

I honestly wouldn’t have it any other way
A great companion cause friendship is for another day
I’m not the type to disappear if there’s no interest
Happy to tell you - I promise that I am here to stay.
One of my personal favorites.

How can you be king if no one is loyal to you?
How can you get loyalty if you don't give it.
When rappers or people call themselves King :p

I bought you a crown,
nothing special, it's cardboard,
decorated with construction paper and smeary markers;
it looks like an elementary art project, but you look like a King with it placed crookedly upon your head.

You told them to step aside,
the corners of your lips curled up,
slightly gaped teeth shone beneath your top lip,
you say "the Queen is coming through," and our hands brush as I walk by.

You are powerful, strong, confident —
the King of Sass,
the King of Humor,
the King of Charm,
the King of my heart.

I am frail, self-conscious, jealous —
the Queen of Uncertainty,
the Queen of Rosy Cheeks,
the Queen of Midnight Tears,
the Queen of Imagination...
After all, you only see me as a commoner.
Why do you keep the crown but reject the love I used to make it?

you crowned me queen and put me up in your beautiful castle

i tried to run, i tried so hard to run away but you pinned me into my gown and you locked me in my tower and told me you would love me
and you loved me
and for the first time, i thought myself a queen
not because of my jeweled head but because the love you shed

now my crown is gone and i'm not quite used to the absence of its weight
i'm running around and falling over drunk on the idea that
you don't love me anymore
and begging someone to lie to me again

i do not miss the crown on my head, i am just sad that the castle wasn't real

next time you build, make sure that you aren't building out of broken glass
i'm unsure how this will be interpreted

There is a weird
And not so wonderful fetish
Particularly British
Common
Amongst commoners
In the United Kingdom

Although the aristocracy
And royalty
Are seen by all
With eyes to see
To have behaved
Abominally
Tortured and twisted
Enslaved, enchained
*****, re-shaped
With bloodstained hands
The entire planet

Sending ordinary
More innocent
English men
To do their ***** work
Their dastardly
Disastrous deeds
As slaves of knaves

Through common British eyes
These horrible people
Are placed high upon
Holy pedestals
Romanticized
Idealized, Idolized
Canonized

Perhaps there's some
Vicarious thrill
Exercising
Enforcing
Power and evil will?

But the hand no pleasure gets
When, through rubbing, wets itself!

The king had a terrific ***,
The *** ran a race & won it!

The media glorified it and put,
'The King's *** Won The Race!'

The king felt embarrassed,
He gave his *** to the queen.

The media again hyped it and put,
'A Royal Exchange: The Queen Has The Best *** In The Kingdom!'

The royal family felt frustrated & flustered,
They decided to do away with the *** now.

The Queen's ***, which earlier was the King's *** was abandoned in the forest,
The royalty felt at ease now.

But the media hyped it too!
*THE ROYAL *** GOES WILD!!!
Inspired from a Whatscrap joke I received.

A King enrolled his donkey in a race & won.

Local paper read:
'KING's *** WON'

The king was so upset with this kind of publicity that he gave the donkey to the queen.

The local paper then read:
"QUEEN HAS THE BEST *** IN TOWN"
The king fainted....

Queen sold the donkey to a farmer for Rs100.

Next day paper read: "QUEEN SELLS HER *** FOR Rs100"
The queen fainted...

The next day king ordered the queen
to buy back the donkey and leave it in jungle.

The Next Headlines:
"QUEEN ANNOUNCES HER *** IS FREE & WILD"
The king died... !!

This was Indian media in Britain, you know better.

God Save The Queen

What if one doesn't believe in the Queen?
What if the Queen is mean?
Atheists who sing that song
Will feel so wrong

Does she ever need saving,
from anything?
Seems a silly song to sing
Aristocratic royalty
Does not speak for me

If you have Irish blood
Flowing through your veins
And you sing this song
Your ancestors
Roll over in their graves

When Armageddon finally comes
They'll be on the wrong side of the road
And when Armageddon finally comes
They will still weigh in stones

MINE by the divine right of Kings correction!
Blessed I am by his royal seal! -
Within his Love selection,
That no Thief may steal.

Thou is mine - here in vision;
Veto Death's repeal -
Dated, titled - with perfect precision!
And forevermore be mine, while the ages kneel!
