I remembered
How you looked at me
The first time you saw me
And I thought to myself
How much I loved you

I remembered
How you looked at me
The last time you saw me
And I thought to myself
How I will always love you
I know what we have isn't gone

Because if it was

It would have stopped hurting
You left our bed at morning’s sigh,
A fleeting kiss, a soft goodbye.
The stars still clung to dawn’s sky,
Now tears and time just linger by.
Come back, my love, don’t leave me crying.

The bangles hum your name till dawn,
The shadows sway, their light withdrawn.
My soul’s a flame, its spark long gone,
Your absence weaves my fears till morn.
Come back, my love, don’t leave me crying.

The sheets still hold your fading warmth,
But cold winds chant a lonesome storm.
My heart, once full, now frays, forlorn,
Each clock’s slow tick a wound reborn.
Come back, my love, don’t leave me crying.

No message comes, no whispered word,
No echo from that town unheard.
My wedding joy, now grief’s own bird,
This bridal bloom, once bright, now blurred.
Come back, my love, don’t leave me crying.

I light the lamp, I breathe your name,
The night returns with wind and flame.
Alone, I bear a wife’s soft shame,
Yet in my heart, you’re still the same.
Come back, my love, don’t leave me crying.

You are the stillness in my storm,

the quiet place where my soul exhales,

the warmth I reach for

when life turns to winter.

You are home—

where every mask slips softly from my

skin, and the rawest part of me

is free to speak,

to simply be.

You smooth the edges that pain left jagged,

you lift the light in me buried deep.

With you, I am known

in ways I never dared to hope.

Time is thief when I’m with you

The hours vanish—

still, it is not enough.

Even skin to skin,

I long to be closer, than closeness allows.

You were formed for me, and I for you—

not as halves, but as answers,

as mirrored calls across the dark.

And this love—

it grows, it deepens, it breathes,

an unfolding masterpiece,

written in the margins of our every day.
For my love and forever home.

Oh, for all a nights bliss,
A woke for them to make haste.
Stands them two, a gliss
For their strides, to be a waste.

There he goes, mine to love
With her hand in his
For his to mine, a torn glove.
was my eyes a miss?
Or his, a sharp trove ?

Would you think her hands are soft ?
That mine lays a thorn too deep
Would you think her hearts aloft
That mine lays far too deep?

There she goes, mine to wed.
With his ring in hers
For her to mine, a sharp lead
Was his tone a soft purr
Or mine a bit red?

Would you think his eyes a lot bright?
And mine lacks it's luster?
Would you think his charms a bit right ?
And mine lacks it's luster?

Oh, for all a night's bliss
A grave for them to make haste
Runs them two, a gliss
For their strides, to be a tale
This piece is one of my favourites ever. The idea was there in my notes app for a long time even the first stanza has. But it was just a few weeks ago that I finished it.
The story is an interpretation of Romeo and Juliet, a Dialogue piece between Rosaline ( Romeo's lover before Juliet and Juliet's cousin) and Paris (Juliet's fiancè ) who in this story stands in the top of a balcony watching the lovers flee. The poem is a dual pov.

Maybe it's our flesh that limits us,

Yet tearing it apart remains but a question.

I can't wipe your blood when mine runs red,
I can't piece you back when I lay a puzzle.
I can't drink in your tears,
When drowning calls my soul.
I saw a lyric somewhere about a line on tearing flesh. It felt so raw in a way I can't quite explain. This is short, but I hope it does justice.
You are my emotional weather, always changing,
Each mood is like a season rearranging.
Your joy is like warm summer's day,
Sunshine and laughter in every way.

Your sadness falls like gentle rain,
A monsoon of tears are a quiet pain.
Yet, you anger is a like winter's cold,
Stormy winds and thunders, I can't hold.

But through all of this, I've to remind,
My each day is shaped in your emotions and mind.
In your road of emotions, I'll drive,
For you my dear is my weather, I'll strive.

Could it be tunnel vision?
—I wonder,
as I see
they are running.
He kisses the hand
he’s already holding.
I could melt.
Way better than fiction—
Real life romance.

Could it be tunnel vision though?
—I wonder again, on the bus,
as I see
she’s shifting
her foot nervously—
and in a rare sight:
A sudden feet-hug,
his reaching hers,
containing and calming.

Could it be tunnel vision?
Or just a sweet foreshadowing?
