As the sun went down
The rays by her solitary window,
A tear did too
Down her cheeks,
Her body felt numb,
The heart made no sound;
The castle of her hopes
Burned to the ground.
Consumed by a void
Engulfing her soul,
The burnt down heart
Let out the only glow,
Gathering the ashes
Of the long lost heart,
She mourned her soul
Now torn apart
The reason, she claims
Was a trust misplaced
With all her woes and shattered dreams
The tearstained pearl was what she reaped

She looked out the window
Now ready to fight,
She'll build a new castle
From the ashes inside.
The eyes that glistened
Now burnt fierce,
She would go down and fight
Against all her fears,
Her heart was broken,
But not her will
The pain was intense
Enough to ****
Yet her oath, was to heal
Lighting the world
With her fiery glow, tamed,
As soft as a mother's embrace
She'd tame her demons,
The healing would take time,
The days will be better
And the sun again will shine.

You could've left, honestly I wouldn't have blamed you.

You could've left, but you didn't.

Instead you drew your sword, fully armoured.

Alongside with me you fought.

Slayed my demons one by one.

When my strenght ran out you held the frontline.

I see you rise and fall, only to rise again.

You fight and you bleed, for me.

My best friend, know that I'm always ready.

Ready to fight for you, I'll slay 'till my last breath.

For you.

I love you my swordsman.

your book of religion was scripted by those who felt imprisoned by the ones they called witches.

I know the world is going through a lot right now
I know that sometimes we feel like giving up
It feels like you carry the weight of the world on one shoulder
The world is sure in a mess right now
But you’re not alone, nobody has to be
We’re all in this together,
For the weight we should’ve carried is love
And every one is a fighter
I believe
So rise up
Together

“I cannot breathe” cried the Man.
Whose lungs heaved as he gasped for air
However, this was on no hospital bed
This was on a city square.

A virus did not **** this man
But a pandemic of hate succeeded
An infectious belief that; man isn’t equal
To that, a vaccine is needed

“I cannot breathe” he screamed face down
A crushing weight pressed on his neck
At least Corona is not biased
For skin color, it does not check

We cannot continue to let this spread
The hate and mistrust must end
We let it fester, infect, and ****
And here we end up again.

We must rise above this infectious disease
Of hateful action and racist thought
It starts with you
It starts with me
Look back someday and say you fought.

Every morning, the sun reminds me
Just like it
I can always rise again
I may fall but I will not stay down
My days may be dull
But everyday I will rise
Until one day I will shine bright
Just like the sun

These temporary feelings
Are worth more than a blink
Physically similar until
You take the second to think
Because you can numb yourself
You can say it all goes away
But a scar is more than a line
In the arm, it’s more than pain
Hold yourself accountable
What love do you deserve?
I only know as much as I do
Because I’ve been here first

I was afraid..I continued to be afraid..
I tried to bury it..I tried to fight it..now,
I’m learning to let it be. Regardless,
the fear is too deep..it’s so familiar..
I believe I’m right, because it compels..
compels me, to escape freedom itself.
