who are we? dead stars
victims of commercial wars
you'll find us in packed bars
lonely on a quest and drunk

it's the best place for us
cause we been fleeing the rat race
don't wanna be part of it
and yet we're all part of it

double standards lead our lifes
we're like you: lovers, husbands and wives

Feeling as a rat
I went to the doc for clue.
He gave pretty pills
Now great and sound as a rock
Will cats know I'm not a rat?

rat
oh, you fat little thing
does the smell of pine excite you?
perhaps the fog of apples and spice?
oh, dear little rat
it's all just a dream to you,
isn't it?
that corner sure is lovely
and i am sure you know i'm here.
don't worry
i won't hurt you.
a little company is nice on the holidays, after all.
poem for the little rat hiding in the corner of my room.

i saw a man waiting for a rat
     to come out it's hole
     so he could eat it

the snow was menacing but i
did not notice i passed by
     no avalanche ever came

standing naked on a small ledge
     anxious waiting to drop hard
     i masturbated and left

I am but a rat in a maze
Round and round I go
Through corners and dead ends
Trying to find my way back to you
And it's not easy
But it's worth it
I just hope you'll be waiting with open arms
When I arrive
If I arrive
