I too was once little
I had a pet rabbit and a mother
Who thought little of my cooking skills

I had a boy friend
Whom people thought it was cute
That I wanted to kiss

I had a pink pencase
And inside I had a rainbow of pens
And I painted rainbows

But then I grew
And studied physics,
and practiced cooking,
and learned that boys do more than kiss

And I learned nothing,
all that strength building,
and I'm still one of the kids

Looking up to her cooking
Impressed by his hunting
A mind hopping from subject to subject

Admiring role models so cruel and
Wishing
That when I grow up
I'd be just like them
I wish I could quit thinking about norms,
There’s a rainbow after all storms.
The ones in our minds too I guess,
I just wish I would think about this less.

Because really, everything is unfair,
So who cares about my short hair?
And of course it’ll grow back,
Yet it forever leaves a crack.

A crack in my heart and my head,
I can’t even believe what I’ve said.
They want the hair to be long,
All I feel is just, that this is wrong.

I want the red not the blue key,
I don’t think that’s hard to see.
So it won’t be cut once again,
But will that be the rainbow or the rain?

'Cause I shall look in the mirror,
That won’t make anything clearer.
And I will feel sad looking there,
My hair will be too long to bear.

I will look at photos of me now,
I’ll probably wonder why and how.
Might say that it was a mistake,
They’ll never see if it’s true or fake.
Spoiler alert!! I did get it cut again. And then I cried, because it looks ugly.

A tiny beetle
Shimmering in the sun
All the colors of the rainbow.
Like benzine spilled in the rain.
A colorful rainbow in the sky
Nature's smile wide and grand
A promise drawn with a gentle hand
A bright arc that seems so divine
With red orange and blue
And its a beautiful sight and
It enchants me and you tonight and
A sweet promise in sunshine's design.

Much to
my surprise
More and more
I come to find
☆Rainbow Stars☆
✧ in my eyes✧
When most my life
I've lived in
✯Black and White✯
I truly am a surprisingly happy person for someone with horrendous rage issues.

Refract a tract through the sky
See the separation wave to your eye
Hues defuse starting from blues
And what can be said about that final red

Shower for an hour from on high
Heavenward does my sight fly
Refuse to peruse would be a time misuse
Tear to be shed gazing upon what's overhead

All that we can see exists in what it can be
Look around from the apex to the ground
Every visual aspect of life exists within those narrow bands
Different for us all, we can agree on its general direction
But when trying to constrain it to exacts
Everything falls apart

Existence is unique for each of us
The paths we take and the lines we walk
To claim there is only one way of being denies the sight of another
Our physical perspective
The lens we see through
Processed by some wrinkles

Rainbows contain us all
You wouldn't claim it to be devoid of what's in between

There is a tree covered in ribbons
Growing by the riverside.
Small buds wake to springtime
Early in the blue brightness.
Many strips of cloth wind round
The Greiving Tree.
I added my own yesterday
During a rest on the long road.
It was a comfort to see many
Memento-leaves gathered close.
Yesterday's sun rose glimmering
On fresh snow and footprints.
Foxes howled in the forest
And hares danced for longer days.
Today the mountains beckon
Speaking of silence and solitude.
True leaves have not yet grown
On the prayer-handed trees.
Ribbons colour the melting winter
Red and purple, blue and green.
Morning light cascades,
A rainbow blooms by the falls,
Nature's whispered song.

Dogs who are so loyal and giving,
deserve no less than this;
As they depart for heaven's gate,
with a final good dog fuss
and a tearful, loving kiss.

Holding tightly to their paw,
till their eyes softly close,
while their gentle, peaceful spirit soars,
but, continues living within
that broken heart of yours.

This is where their pain ends,
and where your sorrow begins.
Yet, they will be looking down
from the beautiful stars
over the rainbow bridge.

We know that all good dogs go to heaven,
to realms beyond this earthly plane,
to a paradise where they run free,
in a land of boundless joy,
where fusses and play never end.

But, good dogs will never forget you,
they will be waiting so patiently,
for that wonderful moment
when you will join them,
and call out their name.

They'll come running so quickly,
their tail wagging incredibly fast
as they eagerly lick your face,
overjoyed to be reunited
with their forever friend at last.

Thank you for all of the cuddles you gave me, when I looked after you when your mummy and daddy were at work.

I’m going to miss you Jessica Wabbit
Lord, she's not even my dog but I'm a blubbering wreck.
